I am bit confused. I was under the impression that the ThreatFire belts were designed to be used in unison with Vitra's system, such that the input came from antagonist via the software as it appeared on the screen. I don't see how this would be effective without the full system. Maybe someone who knows more about the full system could explain.

Oh yeah, what a crew that was. Not many of us left, a few who lurk here and post occasionally.

OJ, still here with all shares, going on 8 years now.

I liked it better the first way.
Bought more today. The Form 4 by the CFO got me.

certification?
The movie referred to is Heartbreak Ridge, starring Clint Eastwood as Gunny Highway, from whence came the term "cluster f**k".
Good to hear from you bsk, don't be a stranger.

Finally gonna get your diploma Troy?
Sorry Bud, just couldn't help myself!!

Here is some of my thinking, fwiw. Given the proximity to the dormant? volcanos of STP, one should assume a relatively thin earth crust at this point. That means much higher than normal temperatures at the depth where the oil would be found, and thus much higher pressures as well, leading to the formation of thermogenic gas and liquids, also under high pressure. Given the relatively shallow drilling performed in Phase 1, I believe that there was great concern about potentially having a blowout not unlike the GM, and/or in some other way possibly ruining the productivity potential for a significant area of a field. Therefor, only the caps were drilled for testing, both for content, location, and pressures. Reevalution of seismic based on these limited results could then be done to be able to more precisely prepare for further drilling with the best possible chance of not only proving the hydrocarbons in place, but doing so with the least amount of risk to the field and the environment. I know most of this has been said before in fragments from numerous posters. Just thought I would share it as it has come together in my mind, particularly as to the prroximity to known previous volcanic activity/heat/pressures.
Thus, it is entirely possible that nobody, at this point, even after 5 wildcat wells, knows what lies beneath, just like Nick.
What they may now know it what types of drilling techniques will be required to now drill deeper and really explore the hydorcarbon resources in the JDZ.
Just musing. Magic
The deal with the puts is much simpler than most are trying to make of it.
Someone (fund, etc) who owns 2 mil shares, then valued at $4+, decides to hedge his risk and buys 20,000 puts at a total cost of $100,000 to protect some of his $8,000,000 investment.
Someone else, (hedgefund, big broker, etc), takes a look at PPHM and decides to cover that bet, knowing there is some risk, but also knowing that if the stock starts nearing the $2.50 strike price, which he thinks is very unlikely, he can buy a few shares in the open market and prevent it dropping to the strike price, then selling the shares after expiration.
Think of it as the buyer of the puts purchasing an insurance policey, and the seller agreeing to write the policy for a premium of $100,000.

Anybody know what has become of the Baaken (sp) and Fort Worth leases, also Wyoming? These should have some value of significance. If this gets much cheaper, maybe I should look into buying the shell to get these leases.
Magic
EZ, I believe it is CNOOC that is partnered with Total in akpo, not sinopec. Both Chinese, but somewhat competitors also, tho I don't think that would keep them from working together on the JDZ connection to akpo.

Nick, BB is active on the other board today, must have the day off.
I added a bunch to my position here today, raising my average cost.
Mark, good to see posting, hope the flood didn't get you, you've had enough to deal with already.
Magic
You are very welcome, umbra, tho lugheads subsequent post was much more accurate than my shaky memory.

Umbra, note the dates on the report you are referring to. At that time, SEO transferred the ownership of most of his shares from individual ownership to Chrome, et al. I'm guessing the .41 on that report is the shareprice at the time of the transfer. The .016 is what SEO originally paid for the takeover of the company. Some time later he received several million shares in exchange for the moneys he had loaned to company. My recollection is these were priced at around .11 .

The number that doesn't work is the 730,000 bpy. If it were that high, it wouldn't be considered marginal.

Good thing we got away from these folks:
President Hugo Chavez announced the sinking on Twitter, saying: "To my sorrow, I inform you that the Aban Pearl gas platform sank moments ago. The good news is that 95 workers are safe."
The Singapore-flagged platform, built in 1977, has a capacity of 98 people and is owned by a subsidiary of the Indian company Aban Offshore.
"The company is assisting in assessment and in determination of the causes of the incident," Aban said in a statement on its website.
Unlike the disastrous oil spill caused by a rig explosion off the coast of Louisiana on April 20, the sinking of the gas rig posed no apparent threat to the environment, the oil minister said.
"There's no problem of any sort of any leak from the field into the environment," Ramirez said, explaining that safety valves were also shut as the tube was disconnected.
The rig was operating in waters about 525 feet (160 meters) deep off eastern Sucre state. Ramirez said there was a problem with the flotation systems of the semi-submergible platform that led to a huge water leak in one area.
The platform began tilting, until it was at a 45-degree angle and a flare tube that previously jutted out to the side was touching the water.
brwtrpilot, too singy for a subscription, so can't PM you, but you can send me one so we can meet some time. Know your area well, my hometown is now under Barkley Lake.

pilot, which part of KY? There are more of us here. I may have been the one that touted your Doc on this. I'm near Owensboro.

Nick, re: your pm, it will happen at some point, just not sure when.

Any idea when we lose the "E". Got to be hurting the PPS.

Mark, so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. His postings here revealed an honest gentleman.
I am also concerned about the flooding in your area and whatever effects it may have on you. If you need assistance, I am only two hours away. YOu have my email address and phone #.

Today reminded me of the day they voided all the block sales except block 1, except we had a better quick recovery then. Me best recollection, without looking it up, was May of 2004. Still holding all my shares, going on eight years now.
Magic
refreshing, especially for us, eh Nick!!!
Magic
Jinman, you dismissed that rather off-handidly. Care to explain what you see as the fallacy of that thought? PM if you wish, we can keep it between us, tho I can't PM you. Not being argumentative, just interested in your thoughts.
TIA, Magic
It occured to me that the reason for the dilution may be to get and keep 51% of the stock in insiders hands. By company selling stock, and insiders buying it up, they can take whatever action the board approves without the need for any shareholder approval. Could be the hold up is getting that 51% control.

But that $3500 is for one 5kw unit. It would take more like 25kw to run the average suburban home if my calcs are correct. Please enlighten me if I'm figuring this wrong.
Magic
I don't know if they've scrapped it or not, but the most recent info from the co referred only to nat gas. I originally bought into to this (not much) because the ammonia plan was intriguing. The possibilities for use in vehicles was interesting. I lost faith when that plan seemed to be abandoned and the certification never came thru.
Magic
My understnding is the current version of the fc uses natural gas for the hydrogen source, or possibly propane, not ammonia. The ammonia process has not been commercialized yet that I know of.
Magic
Just got a mailing with tax filing info for unit holders. Haven't had a chance to sort thru it yet. Anyone with prior year experience care to offer any info on this? Seems odd to have gotten this now, after the filing date.
TIA, Magic
Not sure what that second recipe makes, but save me some of whatever it is, cause the ingredients sound yummy.

Observation from a relatively small shareholder:
Given Dean's experience and the involvement of well qualified legal counsel, it would be incredibly stupid for Dean to be issuing these PRs if they were remotely knowingly false or misleading. The consequences would be devastating, including criminal prosecution, jail time, disgourgement, etc, etc, etc. I do not believe that Dean is that stupid or desparate, nor do I believe that any competent attorney would be associated with this company under those circumstances. The deal may yet fall apart, but at this point in time, the deal is real, imo.
Magic
brez, I believe that would be "dudette".
one trade of 555 shares at $4.90, with previous close of 0.13. Somebody got hosed, big time.
Someone sold a boatload thru etrade earlier. Looks like they are nearly done now. Sorry for whomever had to take that step. Bet we close at .60 or above.
