Rufus owned NOTHING.
Read the rest of the SEC PR. Rufus never PAID for the financial devices. Nada. Zip. He owned nothing.
What is it that you don't get? Rufus didn't own $1 of that Venezuela bond.
I got it from this statement:
"I hope that each of you crooks lost 100 fold for each dollar you took!!!!!"
That implies shorting on CSHD was illegal. Which it wasn't. The only crook was Rufus.
The U.S. debt looks BAAAAAADDDDDD. But never forget, as voting citizens, we can send the message to curb government spending. Cutting spending = quick move back to a surplus to start handling debt.
Who am I kidding? People in the States believe in entitlements. The majority of voters couldn't name their state's congressmen/women. More than that will never read about the 700 billion bailout plan.
Sad.
Masta, tell Rufus that my Put positions were closed well before Friday for a profit. That short positions are risky but for day trades, pay off well. And that shorting stock is perfectly legal.
Based on what Rufus posted, looks like he changed his argument criteria to "shorting" rather than "naked short selling." Just so he could convince you guys from the secret board that he was the lone person responsible for the SEC's ban on shorting financial stocks temporarily.
I'll wager most on Rufus's secret board had no clue that the ban on shorting was ONLY for financial stocks. Something Rufus will not reveal because he want's to take credit for the market's recent volitility.
I have no clue how Rufus thinks he deserves any credit though. He can't even bring value to his own company's stock. LOL! CSHD holders are still screwed.
Lastly, tell Rufus we don't need to bite him. The SEC already has. Rufus should chew on that for a while. LOL! What a POS liar.
Does that mean I can get your support for THE Office in November? I don't have a running mate yet but you're awesome at picking options. I could use you in the Treasury. I'll hand you 100 Billion to play with and all proceeds would go to pay off U.S. debt. You would also be funded to hire any number of the fine traders here to help you out! One of which I would put in control of the SEC to be "SURE" the market goes the right way according to your trades for the Nation.
I'll be like McCain and pick my VP candidate from a Reef Calendar. Hehehe.
Why doesn't Congress just put a "paypal" link on every whitehouse.gov page and ask for donations to pay down the debt? 100% of that money would be used solely for paying off U.S. debt. The big government types like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and various other multimillionaire representatives that like to spend tax money on pork can wear that paypal button out!
Hell, I'd donate $5 to the cause myself! LOL!
You can just write in "Samael" on your ballot in November.
Thanks, Spec for this suggestion yesterday!
.GPYJR GS OCT 190 Calls from .19. Currently .90!
IBM is going to be a monster again today!
He didn't know anything most others weren't already speculating years ago. The ban is only for the financial securities listed here anyway:
http://sec.gov/rules/other/2008/34-58592.pdf
Exactly. Rufus is manuevering with his right hand hoping the SEC doesn't see what the left is doing. The longer he keeps the charade going, the more likely he thinks he'll get away with it.
IMO, he'll succeed unfortunately.
Both.
Money is hiding in Europe, IMO. He's broke because he can't get to it until this is over.
He'll win in the end.
IBM is a monster today.
You have to listen to these guys in the video from this link:
http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/article/62939/'Naked-Shorting'-Crackdown-Exposed-as-Another-Failed-Effort-to-Prop-Up-Stocks?tickers=GS,MS,GE,XLF,JPM,%5EDJI,%5EGSPC
They are talking about the SEC coming down on NSS. I knew right away that there had to be more to the story. So I took the liberty of recording this video to my laptop and converting it to MP3. Then, I did some work on my winamp player to make it play the MP3 backwards. You won't believe what I heard. "Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet, Rufus Harris rocked wallstreet."
Absolutely. Just like we'll feel some pain from Bush's allowing of out of control spending in the not so distant future. I just get really tired of this partisian blame game.
What makes me sick also is that the same damned people saying "Palin isn't qualified" are the same damned people that 3 months ago and beyond would have said they did NOT want a Washington insider in the Whitehouse.
LOL! Yup. I had forgotten but yeah, BA was THE one. Curse all those analysts that get paid to move their employers' holdings with the tap of the key board and a web upload.
I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of hearing of George Bush policies taking the hit for today's Credit Crisis. No doubt that government spending is out of control weakening the dollar. But where did all this start? Remember when it used to be tough to get a loan for a house? It became much easier under Clinton's reign as he changed the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act to help people with less than perfect credit get loans. In comes the sub prime financing:
http://www.4president.us/issues/clinton1996/clinton1996community.htm
"Revising regulations under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) to require financial institutions to lend in their host communities. Under the CRA, banks are now judged on performance—actual lending, investments, and basic banking services. For the first time, banks will have the opportunity to receive CRA credit for loans made for redeveloping old industrial waste sites (“Brownfields”). CRA reform will unleash billions of dollars in new credit to distressed communities."
We get more info on the birth of subprime lending from Wiki:
"Clinton Administration's Changes of 1995The Clinton Administration's regulatory revisions [1] with an effective starting date of January 31, 1995 were credited with substantially increasing the number and aggregate amount of loans to small businesses and to low- and moderate-income borrowers for home loans. Part of the increase in home loans was due to increased efficiency and the genesis of lenders, like Countrywide, that do not mitigate loan risk with savings deposits as do traditional banks using the new subprime authorization. This is known as the secondary market for mortgage loans. The revisions allowed the securitization of CRA loans containing subprime mortgages. The first public securitization of CRA loans started in 1997. [2]"
In fact, George Bushed increased the oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the face of Democratic opposition:
Mel Watt (D N.C.)Opposition to increased oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
In 2003, Watt opposed efforts by the Bush Administration and Congressional Republicans to increase regulatory oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.[5] "I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing", Mr. Watt said.[6]
Please keep all of this in mind when you hear Nancy Pelosi blame Bush policies for today's credit crisis. She is outright lying: http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/pelosi-dems-bear-no-responsibility-for-economic-crisis-2008-09-16.html
Samael
Good. They downgraded one of my calls earlier this year and cost me a few bucks. LOL!
Worth a look, IMO:
.IBMAI IBM JAN 2009 145 Calls
So did most of the mods on this thread:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=5176
Those options traders have their fingers on the Market's pules. Not saying Rufus doesn't know the market because he does. But he wasn't the only one predicting a crisis. As soon as Bill Clinton and the Democrats started forcing the Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's to provide loans to those that didn't deserve them, everyone that knew about the ushering in of sub prime mortgages was going to end up badly.
Then you have the nut jobs:
You can go onto youtube and find videos of people predicting a Market crash for every year from 2000 to 2020. LOL!
LOL! All scam artists do that.
The difference being, Rufus continues to lie daily on a secret board. His followers come to these type forums to spread the lie. That's why there's so much more focus on this POS.
Also, the extent of lies Rufus executed increased the PPS tremendously which caused greater than normal losses.
That's the way I see it.
LOL!
Did you know that LA county is planning to force businesses like Home Depot to provide a covered area where "workers" can stand waiting for jobs?
http://www.knbc.com/news/17183208/detail.html
Now make a guess what this promotes. Surprised LA County didn't require the shelters to contain a delivery room and nurses ready to provide immunizations for school for free.
We gots to cut government spending NOW! Free up some funds to pay down the debt. We could probably do this successfully by removing the burden we have of illegals abusing our medical system. Then focus on cutting pork.
Rufus lied about the Ven. Bond. I challenge anyone to DD said bond and verify who owns it today. Rufus stated several times they could not back out of the agreement. LOL! The only debunking anyone can do against any claims showing Rufus was a liar is if you can produce evidence that Rufus owns the bond today. We all know he doesn't though.
I'm not sure I'd be too worried about the Venezuelan government trying to extradite me for messing around with some Venezuelan's passport on the Internet. LOL! I'm certain Rufus wouldn't lose sleep over that. Hell, he lied to a thousand shareholders right next door to him about having 100's of millions in CASH in the bank. You think he's worried about Chavez's government?
Even more, I doubt GW would give ANY American up to Chavez for just about any crime committed against his regime.
LOL! I'll admit it. I missed that the first time I read Masta's post.
LOL!
"This egg"
Yes. Thanks for the tip on these:
.DAVXL Dec. 90 Puts
Closed at 1.50 today!
I don't particularly like hoping the market crashes though. And IBM is getting close to my new entry.
Keep an eye on Big Blue. Whenever the market decides things are good, IBM's got a long way to go north! IMO, of course.
Hell, independent of Rufus, the group on his secret board could bring a class action against the SEC for not stopping alleged NSS.
All they'd have to do is pull their shares together and prove that they own more than the OS. Simple to do. Problem is, they wouldn't like the result. LOL!
What they'd end up with is an attorney looking at them like they have a 3rd eye because the grand total of proven ownership today is probably no more than half the OS. LOL!
Thinking back, doesn't Rufus claim MM's did the naked short selling? MM's do that to maintain liquidity in a stock but are supposed to cover within 3 days. Do we really believe that MM's are sitting around with huge NSS positions in stocks with the intent never to cover?
How could individuals open NSS positions anyway? Has that ever been explained? I've read about "entities" using NSS in an effort to bring a stock's price down. How does a seller open an NSS without the aid of an MM? Or a broker willing to take on the risk? There's your defendents. Name them and bring charges against them.
LOL!
Rufus knows a lot about the market. But in chunks. Much like a Pastor of a church knows the right verse for specific messages. However, Rufus doesn't know how to keep his story straight because he's a liar. For example, he still has many people believing a 6:1 is coming. But if he actually knew the rules, he'd have already filed to increase the authorized shares to accomodate the additional shares. He can't even puzzle his claims together without leaving gapping holes.
Dude, all you need to know Rufus is a scammer is understand the market and it's rules.
Masta, What do you mean Rufus can't provide the necessary proof of NSS?
All he has to do is open a case or complaint with the SEC showing them he does in fact have the float locked up. Rufus can provide them with that info at will. Of course, if he wasn't lying about it, that is. LOL!
Come on man. The fact Rufus is a scammer isn't a difficult conclusion to come to today.
If Rufus names me as a defendent for NSS'ing his beloved stock, it would take me about 5 minutes to show and prove otherwise. Likewise, if the shares were all locked up somewhere as Rufus has claimed, Rufus could have done the same.
Problem is, he's a POS liar.
LOL! I wonder how many evil shorters (legal or not) are losing sleep over that scary ole' Rufus.
I have these: .TRAVF TRA OCT 30 Puts
They're going from .60 - 1.00 all day. Back and forth. It's OK because I'm not losing. I'm just not smart enough to sell at the top and buy back again. I suspect it will drop more before the EOD.
I'm sea sick.
1st - That's speculation.
2nd - If it was fact, then that would have been a pretty good time for Rufus to name a defendent and open a case against them.
3rd - Who cares at this point because Rufus isn't going to do anything anyway? It was a smoke screen ploy ONLY.
Lastly - With all the DD on CSHD, no one's been able to prove an NSS position ever existed with this. Unless you took Rufus's word that the float was locked up somewhere no one could see. LOL!
TRA is moving so much today, you could have flipped puts on this 3 times with at least a 20% gain 3 times today. Damn.
LOL! Now we see which analyst the market put's the most faith!
What a quandry. Obviously, UBS didn't know that Wachovia had some long positions on GS and Wachovia didn't know that UBS had a short position on GS.
Maybe a short squeeze today?
Jenna, I can't PM but here's where you'll get a better answer to your question regarding AIG:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=5176
There's some on that forum that have their fingers on AIG's pulse. LOL!
I'm not playing that one but it may bounce back by EOD considering the Fed is bailing them out.
I like seeing this drop. Can't wait to start buying calls and IBM stock!
Yo man! I haven't watched GOOG or AAPL the last week or so. Where's the bottom on those two? All bets are off?
As long as GM doesn't dilute too much, that's a really good one to own for the next couple of years. They'll be outsourcing their assembly to Mexico so look for big cost cutting PR's on them.
