NGW spent $1.2M on investor relations in 2019 with no positive effect on the share price. Advertising is not cheap, and cash could be better used building the company.
NGW put the meat on the table with its widespread announcement of profitability. It's now up to investors to decide if they want to chow down, which they did somewhat by doubling the share price.
To me further PR's on the same or similar subjects would have little to no effect except enriching online publishers. Investors can track the day to day activities of the company on social media for free.
We disagree on this one HD, but I get your point. gl
Interesting that NGW and ZENA are selling for about the same share price. ZENA's problem is they can't seem to grow high THC flower that sells quickly. They also have tremendous debt weighing them down, and as you pointed out HD, they are far from profitability.
NGW doesn't appear to have any of these problems, so the market is now valuing both company's sp about the same, even though ZENA's indoor facility is 10 times larger and they employ 100s of workers. To me NGW's only obstacle to future large scale growth is capacity.
Many smaller indoor craft growers are starting to license their vacant land for outdoor grow. This will supply the biomass they need for extraction without building more costly indoor facilities, or greenhouses. It also increases the value of unlicensed vacant land in case of acquisition.
This is why I hope NGW will get their 15 acres of vacant land licensed, (If zoning allows). Also, they might be able to double indoor grow capacity by using multi level vertical growing tech. Exciting times for NGW. glta

Looks like Mike is already doing solventless extraction in-house. This is good because solventless extraction requires less expense, it's easier to produce, no solvents like ethanol required, it's a high demand product, more flavor is retained, and much much safer to produce. Check it out @mileloudseeds instagram. more info on solventless @bcbubbleman.

Agree, Not even close to $25M, but they did get enough shares to do some serious damage to the share price. Hopefully NGW got back all of the remainder. NGW's share price started crashing hard right after the SDC deal was concluded. Coincidence??? Water under the bridge now.

SELLING AND MOVING CANNABIS - THE NEW PARADIGM
https://kymkemp.com/2020/06/09/selling-and-moving-cannabis-the-new-paradigm/
In depth article explaining how California's track-and-trace system works, Nice breakdown of the supply chain as well.
TGOD is a well known highly traded micro-cap stock with a $121M market cap. NGW is a relatively unknown nano-cap with a current market cap of $19M. Hence the lower volume.
That being said, TGOD's most recent earnings report showed revenues of only $3.6M, with a loss from operations of $15.3M. That's why I got out of TGOD long ago.
Comparatively NGW just reported profitability, and $2M in revenues for the first 2 months of Q2. If they stay on that pace they could report close to what TGOD just reported in Q1.
Other comparisons are TGOD's outstanding shares 340,170,260 compared to NGW's 159,506,783. TGOD's current SP .34 USD, NGW .12 USD.
Why TGOD is considered six times more valuable than a company rapidly approaching TGOD's quarterly earnings, selling for one third TGOD's SP, with less than half TGOD's outstanding shares, and already profitable, is a mystery to me :) always imho glta
**NEWS** Thrive Cannabis Obtains Health Canada's Approval For Extract Sales
https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/20/06/16211156/thrive-cannabis-obtains-health-canadas-approval-for-extract-sales
This sounds like good news for Target. The press release mentions expanding Thrive's cultivation and processing capabilities further at the Canary facility. Not sure if this means they are adding more grow rooms to the facility. The 8 current grow rooms only utilize about half the facilities licensed footprint.
There seems to be room to add more, and under the new Health Canada regulations adding rooms has been made much easier. At least that's what I've read. Of course Canary would receive it's share of the proceeds of any new rooms added. Expansion within the already licensed footprint seems like a win win for both companies.
Also good news is Thrive receiving its approval for extract sales. They will need high potency flower to make concentrates like Diamonds, and strain specific vape cartridges. For this you need lots of high potency biomass that is mostly grown indoors. Thrive would be smart to max out Canary's facility with more rooms before they absolutely need them. Stay ahead of the curve :) gl

Now that Citizen Stash has built a stellar reputation for ultra-premium dried flower, the CS concentrates should have built-in demand from retailers currently selling their products.
Of course it's still up to Citizen Stash to produce ultra-premium concentrates that live up to CS customer expectations. No doubt they will :)

Looks like Thrive has already begun moving plants into the Canary facility. According to this Thrive press release they began at the end of May. This is good news for Target investors that the first harvests will begin this summer.
Thrive's investor presentation says they expect to begin selling dried flower in September. Just enough time to grow and cure the first Canary facility cultivars. Pretty exciting times for Target investors to finally reach this point. Well at least I'm excited :) glta

Nice promo for the company on a widely read investor forum. Like :)
Looks like NGW has already started promoting the company. They had releases on Thurs, and Friday, along with the conference call.
Not expecting much more for now. Mike said in the CC they won't be releasing "fluff" PR's with no substance, which is fine with me. Tired of cannabis companies having a press release every time they sell a pre-roll. Quarterlies and material events are all I need.
Now that the company is profitable it's almost set and forget time for me. The SP will do what it does, and I'll keep buying the dips, but with more confidence now. Buying in the 4s without a complete picture of what was coming was gut churning. Now I wish I had bought a ton more :)
Here's a new interview with Mike from Friday.
Next Green Wave sees impressive revenue numbers as the company becomes profitable.

Thanks for the update shanak10. Really good news that the facility is finally producing cannabis. It took them awhile to find the right partner, but Thrive is a great fit as craft grown experts producing ultra-premium cultivars.
Thrive has been looking for a partner, and at one point signed a LOI with Beleave Cannabis for a possible merger, but it didn't work out. Wouldn't be surprised if Thrive and Canary eventually merge so Thrive can have access to the capital markets for further expansion.
The 50/50 partnership could produce great results for both companies. CBDY projected the facility would produce 3,600 KG (3,600,000 Grams) per year in output, which at $5 per gram wholesale would be $18M in revenues annually.
With Thrive's unique high potency strains the price per gram could be much higher than average. Then add in the concentrates and derivatives that Thrive is producing, and the future looks much brighter for CBDY now than it did before the partnership.
I had my concerns about this investment, but with Thrive's seasoned management team in charge the future now looks much brighter. To me the potential just doesn't match the current (.015) share price. Especially with such a low float (94.63M). So I'm adding on the dips. Thanks again for the update. Good luck and stay safe.

Currently sold out products since my last post are Wedding Cake Flower, and SFV OG Budder. Slurricane x GG4 Badder is a new product that could be a big seller based on the popularity of both strains.

Congrats to the NGW team on a record quarter, even under adverse conditions in the country.
Company far exceeded my personal expectations on operating costs and revenues. Happy to be wrong :)
The selling price per gram was lower than I had hoped, but that should start going up with the THC levels recently achieved.
Personally think they will go cash flow positive in Q2. Looks to me like they need around $1.6M per quarter to break even. They might be there already. Hopefully a update with a glimpse into Q2 will be forthcoming.
Still very positive about the future of this investment. glta

Thanks for the update craignortheast. If they release the report on a Monday that could be a good sign. Bad news usually gets reported on Fridays, like today's Canopy numbers.
NGW must feel pretty good about the report to release the first day of the trading week. Followed by a press release that could contain some positive forward guidance. Maybe they broke $1M in revenues for the quarter, or Hart Luck CBD sales were off the charts.
Exciting times for the small crafts. Not so much for the big boxes. glta
Expecting Q1 to be a much different report than Q4. The Q4 report was burdened with a large write down, and substantial costs related to the December financing.
Q1 should be a much cleaner report showing the basic costs to run the company on a quarterly basis. This should give us a good idea of what size revenues NGW needs to break even in a normal quarter.
NGW has already reported partial sales in Q1 of $650K in their March update. My conservative guesstimate for the full quarter is somewhere between $700K and $800K. To me anything over would be a welcome surprise.
I'll be focused more in Q1 on the bottom line to see what more is needed to to reach profitability with normal quarterly expenses. If they need $5M per quarter, that's a big nut to crack. If they can get costs down to $1M to $2M that would be more in line with costs related to a 35,000 sq ft facility.
My guesstimate is NGW will come up around $2M to $3M short of break even in Q1, barring any further write downs etc, which would be a remarkable improvement over Q4. If costs are much higher I'll be scouring the report for the reason why. Trust but verify is my motto :)
NGW is firing on all cylinders now, with new products arriving almost weekly at the dispensaries. The product is high quality with THC levels off the charts in some cases. If they continue to execute at this level and get costs right sized to the facility, then the sky's the limit to what they can achieve. imho glta
PS- Don't be surprised if they take the 45 day Covid 19 extension for filing the report. That seems to be what most of my stocks are doing. Have to give NGW credit for filing Q1 on time. Also isn't about time The Board made Mike Jennings permanent CEO. I think so.
"NEW" Fire OG Diamonds, 84.07% THC, 1g $38.86
Available @ Have a Heart Coalinga
New at March and Ash, Forum Cut BX Flower, 22.39% THC, 3.5g @ $41.00
NGW's GMO Cookies 30.84% THC has sold out and been restocked multiple times at both HaH Coalinga & Oakland locations. Slurricane may have sold out completely as it's no longer available at either location. More Slurricane was recently harvested according to mikeloudseeds instagram. No lab results yet, but hopefully they come in hot like like the first harvest. Also Lava Cake was harvested recently as well. GMO Cherries are now available at HaH and March and Ash. Will update again as new product arrives.
Looking forward to the Q1 results. Could be a FIRE quarter :) glta
**NEWS** Q2 2020 Strategic Update
https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/20/05/ac16101797/q2-2020-strategic-update
Good to see Experion quickly becoming a CPG leader currently engaging seven strategic partners to grow Experion cultivars for distribution under the Citizen Stash brand. With overcapacity rampant in Canada, Experion was smart to invest in CPG related equipment over new cultivation facilities. Going forward branding & distribution will be the key to success. Experion figured that out early in the game. Like :) glta

Glad to see that ATB agreed to amend its credit agreement with Decibel to provide near term financial flexibility for the company. Lender support for operations is hard to find in the current market, so congrats to the Decibel team for getting it done.
Now they can focus on getting the new cultivation and extraction facilities fully operational, along with the new retail stores. Guess we'll have to wait for Q1 numbers to see the full revenues of the combined companies.
Gross price per gram of $11.44 is outstanding compared to many others that have already reported. Now they just need to increase production by getting Thunderchild licensed and producing ASAP. imho glta
NGW products available at Have a Heart Oakland.

Some of the most potent products on the HaH Oakland website. NGW's GMO Cookies is one of only four over 30% Flowers available at the dispensary.
