Hey GreenIves!!!! Happy to see another record setting quarter from the Decibel Team. Especially liking Decibel at #3 in market share. Only two spots left to reach the top!!!!
Looks like they sold close to half a million dollars a day in Decibel products according to my math. That's pretty wild considering they were a brand new company with half built facilities just a few years ago. DB was smart and focused on the automated production of concentrates with repeatable high quality results and the strong effects customers want. Looks like it's paying off in a big way with rapidly improving gross margins!!!! Like :) Congrats to the team on another record setting quarter. Good Luck GreenIves & GLTA :)

**NEWS** Decibel Provides Preliminary Record Level Q4 2022 Results and 2023 Outlook
Decibel has continued its market share gains, becoming the third largest LP in Canada by market share and the fastest growing large LP with 77% growth in 2022. We remained focused on developing consumer loyalty and category expansion supported through refinement of differentiation within our products. By creating demand, it led to an abundance of attractive investment opportunities by way of automation and supply chain optimization, leading to record level gross margin in the back half of the year. Through these steps, we've grown Decibel's top and bottom line substantially, capping off the year with record level results. We are steadfast in our strategic plan that has driven our recent success, while remaining nimble to navigate a highly dynamic Canadian marketplace and ever-growing international landscape.

Hey GreenIves!!!! Another record quarter on the way!!!! Nice of Decibel to give us a heads up so we don't have to wait so long for the Q4 numbers. It's getting to the point where I'd be surprised if every quarter isn't a record setter.
According to recent Headset data Decibel now has 5 of the Top 10 selling vapes in Ontario, including #1 Tiger Blood, #2 Peach Ringz, #4 Honeydew Boba, #6 Strawnana, and #7 Maui Wowie. Decibel's Tiger Blood Vape Cart is also the #1 selling cart in BC and Alberta.
Decibel also has 3 of the Top 10 selling Pre-rolls in Ontario including #4 Taster Pack, #7 Tiger Blood, and #8 Peach Ringz. Plus 3 in the Top 5 in BC including #1 Peach Ringz, #2 Tiger Blood, and #5 Peach Ringz (3 pack). In Alberta they have the Top 2 pre-rolls with #1 Tiger Blood and #2 Peach Ringz.
With these results it's no surprise that DB is the fastest growing large LP with 77% growth in 2022. Decibel was smart to invest in automation early on with the result being higher gross margins now and in the future. Glad to hear they continue to invest in automation and supply chain optimization. Congrats to Team Decibel on another record quarter!!!! Looking forward to more of the same in 2023!!!! Good Luck GreenIves and GLTA!!!!

"Our continued market share growth in a highly competitive environment is a testament to our commitment to innovation and quality products", said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. More Great News GreenIves!!!! Focusing on infused products from the beginning is now paying off big time for the company. On Reddit OCS store owners say General Admission Infused Pre-Rolls are selling like crazy. Customers seem to love their flavor profiles which is a testament to the R&D Team at The Plant.
Pretty wild that DB has now passed by some of the biggest names in cannabis. They've come a long way in a short amount of time by understanding that great flavor and strong effects are what customers want most of all. Along with reproducible consistency and a fair price of course.
Hey GreenIves, DB only needs to jump two more LP's to be Number One :) Congrats to the team!!!! GLTA

"With highly successful recent product launches, the demand we are experiencing has been tremendous and provides opportunity for material growth for Decibel. Hey GreenIves!!!! Loving the record $28 million in product sales with increasing margins.Puts them over $100 million annual run rate for the first time. Not surprising if you've been watching DB consistently dominate the Headset Top 10 Vapes in Ontario for months now. Decibel's General Admission Vapes also hold the #1 and #2 spots in Alberta, and BC. The #1 Vape in all three provinces is GA's Peach Ringz, which is a testament to DB's consumer research team.
Liking the recent news of Decibel product shipped to Israel. Smart establishing a European Union supply chain before they go recreational. Also liking DB attracting new board members from brand name companies with capital market connections. Cody did a great job successfully growing the company through a pandemic. **NEWS** Decibel Announces International Expansion of Qwest Brand
"The Qwest brand enjoys popularity in the Canadian premium market, and also global awareness as legalized cannabis markets develop." Said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. "As Decibel continues to experience record performance in Revenue, EBITDA, gross margin and market share, the combination of a stable growing Canadian LP with a dominant premium brand attracted international business attention and opportunity. We are thrilled to partner with BOL and look forward to a long relationship."
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announces-international-expansion-qwest-120000688.html
Hey GreenIves!!!! Decibel is going international!!! They really have come a long way since we started watching.
Its been a roller coaster ride for cannabis companies, but mostly up for DB in the revenue department. The SP is a whole other discussion, but they are making an effort to tell their growth story.
Liking that more international business is in the pipeline. Hopefully they will find a way to get Decibel products into the US, like using manufacturing partnerships for their brands until legalization allows CA imports.
Right now Decibel's brand General Admission holds 5 of the Top 10 positions for Vape Cartridges in Ontario. Including #2 Strawnana, #3 Honeydew Boba, #6 Pineapple Daze, #8 Rainbow Sherbet, and #10 Peach Ringz.
To me that's a dominant position to hold by any measure, and a major achievement for the team. Congrats Team DB on another big step forward!!!! Good Luck GreenIves, & GLTA

**NEWS** Decibel Cannabis Q2 Revenue Increases 12% Sequentially to C$18.6 Million
"Our second quarter results continue to demonstrate that Decibel is on the path we projected in our 2022 operational outlook", said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Decibel. "Our New Unique and Innovative product development and revenue generating initiatives have once again produced quarter-over-quarter record performance. This progress has been compounded by our productivity initiatives and record gross profit, now resulting in positive cash flow, putting us on track for another projected milestone."
"With more highlights scheduled for the back half of 2022, Decibel is delivering exactly what we've planned and forecasted to the market, ourselves, and our shareholders."
https://www.newcannabisventures.com/decibel-cannabis-q2-revenue-increases-12-sequentially-to-c18-6-million/
Hey GreenIves!!!! Another record quarter with $26+ million in gross revenue, plus cash flow positive once again. This pushes DB's annual run rate over the $100 million mark with positive guidance of more to come. Happy to hear record level demand has continued into the current quarter, supported by new production equipment to increase supply. Especially like the increasing gross margins as a result of smart investments in The Plant production facility.
Decibel currently has some of the hottest products on the market with their infused pre-rolls and vape carts leading the way. Right now DB has the number one vape cart in Ontario (Strawnana), and four of Ontario's Top 10 carts, according to Headset data. They also have the #1 vape cart in BC (Peach Ringz). Plus General Admission's Honeydew Boba Infused Pre-Rolls are the first infused flower products to make any Top 10 list to my knowledge. Currently #7 in Alberta. General Admission Vape Carts Dominating Ontario Top 10...
Hey GreenIves!!!! According to this new Headset data GA has five of the top ten selling vapes in Canada's largest market. Including the #1 selling cartridge Strawnana, #4 Pineapple Daze, #7 Rainbow Sherbet, #8 Tropic Girl Scout Cookies, and #10 Honey Dew Boba. That's a really dominant position to hold in a hyper competitive category. From what I can tell customers love their flavor profiles and that keeps them coming back for more. You can't have 5 in the Top 10 without large numbers of repeat customers. These numbers are a great sign the current quarter could be a real doozy come report time. Fingers crossed GreenIves!!! **NEWS** Decibel Announces Material Positive Adjustments to Q2 2022 Net Revenue and Adjusted EBITDA Growth
"In the second quarter Decibel continued to match and exceed revenue projections, and significantly exceed EBITDA projections. Performance was driven by exceptional continued growth in demand for our popular brands and new products. This, coupled with prioritizing certain key capital initiatives, generated gross margin and EBITDA significantly beyond our forecast," said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. "We expect revenue in the quarter to be in the $18.5 - $19.5 range and corresponding Adjusted EBITDA in the $3.0 - $3.5M range. Margins and profitability expanded with our automation, infrastructure and cost engineering improvements coming online earlier than planned. These improvements have been in the pipeline and impacted the end of Q2, with the full impact unfolding in the third and fourth quarter. The impact of these projects appears to be well beyond our projections for gross margin expansion."

Hey GreenIves!!!! I'm loving all the positive guidance we're getting from the company in this update. With all the train wreck guidance we're seeing in the cannabis industry it's nice to see Decibel outperforming the competition and gaining market share. Most are still promising cash flow positive when DB's already there. Sounds like they're expecting much higher revenues in Q3 & Q4 due to automation and other improvements recently completed. But lets just savor this one for a minute before we move on :) Congrats (Once Again) Team DB!!!! Like :) GL GI & GLTA
Recent interview with Decibel executive Adam Coates. Terrible talk over interviewers but Adam does manage to get in some good current info on the company.
**NEWS** Decibel Announces International Expansion and IMC-GAP Certification
"This is a very important milestone for the outlook of the Company as this certification unlocks untapped markets for Decibel. The opportunity allows the Company to provide its high-quality craft cannabis products internationally, while also setting the stage for the Decibel brands to develop international recognition and additional consumer exposure," said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announces-international-expansion-imc-120000209.html
Glad to see Decibel making a capital light move into international markets. Where the big boys went wrong was building and buying facilities overseas when they already had more than enough capacity to supply international sales from Canada.
There's already a few craft cannabis companies supplying Israel from Canada, so all the intial kinks to ship there have been worked out. Happy to see Decibel looking for revenue internationally in less restrictive countries like Israel. This also gets DB's foot in the door to Europe. Conrats Team!!! Like :) glta

"Decibel remains on track to achieve its previously communicated targets, which is a testament to the focus on our strategic plan, and particularly our New, Unique and Innovative products and dedication to our customers", said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. "We see momentum growing in our core business, and at the same time are driving towards creating shareholder value by restructuring our balance sheet. Liking the large gains in gross margin and positive EBITDA. Best news was DB got their Health Canada license for The Plant processing hub expansion. **NEWS** Decibel to Announce First Quarter Results on May 25
CALGARY, AB, May 19, 2022 /CNW/ - Decibel Cannabis Company Inc. (the "Company" or "Decibel") (TSXV: DB) (OTCQB: DBCCF), a premium cannabis producer, is pleased to announce the Company will release its 2022 first quarter financial results and related management discussion and analysis on May 25, 2022 before markets open.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announce-first-quarter-results-120000530.html
Hey GreenIves!!! This should be another record quarter driven by the new infused flower products launched in Q4. In the last press release they projected $16.5 to $17.5 million net revenue for Q1. Hopefully they come in closer to the top end, and continue their streak of EBITDA positve quarters. My guesstimate is they come in between 25 and 30 million in actual revenue before government excise taxes, which are way too high IMHO. Agree GI, it's a lot of revenue to tap for 5 cents. Remember what it did last time it got this low $$$. Fingers Crossed Again :) GL GI & GLTA

Wow! Never thought I’d see this touch .05’s again! With 52Mill of revs..no brainer to me. I’ll be switching some positions to hopefully double down on Decibel. They continue to deliver and hit each milestone set and Market share. Like you said. I think this is going to get bought up soon, or they will find a way to expand and hopefully continue to flourish. GL BGP!
DB vs SNDL
Decibel and Sundial recently reported yearly revenue for 2021. Both companies sell similar products and own retail stores. Here are some key comparisons that stand out to me. Numbers taken from Yahoo Finance.
Current Market Cap
Decibel $ 31.5 million
Sundial $ 1.15 billion
Shares Outstanding
Decibel 403 million
Sundial 2.39 billion
Net Revenue 2021
Decibel 52 million
Sundial 56 million
Net Revenue Increase from 2020
Decibel +75%
Sundial -8%
Current Share Price
Decibel .075 US
Sundial .46 US
Decibel held its own against some really well funded competition in 2021, including Sundial, who had a unrestricted cash balance of $558 million at the end of 2021. On a revenue per share basis DB was the clear winner. Sundial has 5+ times the shares of Decibel. On a cash in the bank basis Sundial beats almost all Canadian LPs. I own both but think DB's products and branding are currently stronger than SNDL's. Hence DB's strong showing against a much larger company in 2021. Hoping that continues in 2022 :) Go Team!!! glta
The Acquisition Zone...
Man, Decibel's share price has been sitting in the acquisition zone for a long time now. My math shows the market cap ($27M) is lower than its yearly net revenue ($52M). About half the size actually. This predicament isn't limited to DB. Normally the bigger cannabis co's would be picking up these companies for their brands and market share, but they're currently downsizing, and using LP subcontractors instead. It's up to DB to figure out a way to get their share up to at least yearly income which would double its current price. This is crazy it's so low when they are so close to net income profitability.
The cannabis sector might soon discover the only way to raise capital is to change business models to dividend paying companies in the near future. This model could attract dividend inventors looking to get in on the ground floor. Even if cannabis co's paid small dividends in the beginning it would attract more and more investor attention as they grow. Cannabis dividends payers would fit right in with other agriculture dividend payers where it's common. The first step is letting your intentions be known that upon meeting certain financial milestones the company intends to pay a dividend. If the big boys aren't buying this could be the best path forward. Dividends for the masses :) always imho glta
**NEWS** Decibel Announces Fourth Quarter Results with Strong Net Revenue Growth and Sixth Period of Consecutive Positive Adjusted EBITDA
"Decibel continues to execute on its strategy to accelerate revenue growth and deliver new, unique and innovative choices to cannabis consumers. The success achieved through 2021 with record market share demonstrates the strength we've created in our brands, and our dedication towards our customers", said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. "Our momentum has accelerated into 2022, and we are gaining great traction across our products and brands, particularly with our recent infused product launches over late Q4 and first quarter of 2022."
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/decibel-announces-fourth-quarter-results-with-strong-net-revenue-growth-and-sixth-period-of-consecutive-positive-adjusted-ebitda-301530796.html
Hey GreenIves!!!! How about that $52 million in net revenue for 2021. Nice!!! Plus getting 2022 off to great start with anticipated earnings of $16.5 to $17.5 million coming up next report. Best part they're still EBITDA positive for six straight quarters. Something not many, if any, Canadian LP's can match.
They've come a long way from where they started. Feel like we picked one of few cannabis winners that has yet to get the recognition they deserve. Lots to like in this report GreenIves. Congrats to the DB team for growing the company even when the supply chain is so unpredictable. Like :) always imho glta
The pandemic had little impact on Canada’s legal cannabis sales
The pandemic saw a boom in legal recreational cannabis sales across Canada. From March 2020 to February 2021, sales totaled $2.5 billion, double the $1.25 billion of the previous 12 months. Surveys likewise reported more cannabis users and more frequent usage in 2020 than the year before.
https://theconversation.com/the-pandemic-had-little-impact-on-canadas-legal-cannabis-sales-180206
It's well known that alcohol sales are mostly unaffected during economic downturns. Consumers just buy cheaper brands if need be. Looks like cannabis is following that same trend of increasing sales during anxious times. Makes sense being cannabis is calming to many patients and rec consumers.
Hey GreenIves!!! Hoping for another earnings increase in this weeks report. Fingers crossed. glta
General Admission Vapes #1 Online Sellers @ OCS.ca...
This good news is for the Ontario Holiday Period starting Oct 1st to Dec 31st 2021. To me this is a good sign for the upcoming Q4 release next week. They were also #2 for in store vape sales :) They're just not in as many stores as #1 Back Forty (yet). Hopefully now that the pandemic is winding down the sales team can start visiting stores again.
More good news is Qwest got their top selling Diamond Infused Pre-rolls into the Ontario market this week. These are Best Sellers in BC so I think they will be a hit in Ontario as well. They also got in a new flower strain Blueberry Syrup (yummy), and more General Admission Infused Pre-rolls.

Hey GreenIves!!! Looking forward to seeing how holiday sales went with their expanded inventory of vapes, concentrates, and the new infused products included in the mix. Hoping to see a continued shift from from flower to higher margin extracts. Last quarter it was about 50% of revenue. Cannabis flower has almost become a commodity now so it's smart to shift away as quickly as possible. Fingers crossed for another good quarter. glta

Great job getting someone with this level of success in business. Color me impressed that her former company Inner Spirit sold to Sundial for $131 million in mostly cash. Considering Inner Spirit only reported $8.8 million in its last quarterly report I'd take that multiple all day long. Hopefully she can work the same magic with Decibel.
With the cannabis industry consolidating you need to be an acquirer or the acquired. If you are neither companies with economies of scale will eat your lunch. Decibel needed someone like Manjit Minhas to steer them in the right direction. Glad to have her on the Decibel team :) Congrats!!! glta

With the cannabis industry consolidating you need to be an acquirer or the acquired. If you are neither companies with economies of scale will eat you for lunch. Decibel needed someone like Manjit Minhas to steer them in the right direction. Glad to have her on the Decibel team :) Congrats!!! glta

**NEWS** Decibel Announces a Fourth Consecutive Month of Record Market Share and Provides an Operational Update
"With our capital projects having achieved key milestones, it is a testament to our commitment to quality products, which continue to drive strong growth in market share" said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Decibel. "As these strategic investments come online, we anticipate operational efficiency gains that will enhance gross margins and drive growth in our bottom line."

Hey GreenIves, Another record month for DB market share!!! Like :)
What impresses me most is Decibel's #1 ranking in premium flower and pre-rolls both nationally and in major provincial markets. Equally impressive is their #2 standing for vape sales in Ontario and nationally.
Headset just reported the fastest growing cannabis category in the US is infused pre-rolls up 103% in 2021. Fortunately QWEST is a early infused mover with Diamond Infused Pre-rolls that have been in and out of stock multiple times in BC and AB.
Canada seems to follow California's lead pretty closely so I'm expecting 2022 to be a big year for infused products. We might soon see a launch of 3 new Diamond infused pre-rolls in Ontario, if you can believe what you read on Reddit :)
To me Decibel is smart to focus on high margin concentrates, and should use their low cost biomass to drive 2.0 retail prices down for more market share. Except keep the best of the best flower for connoisseurs only. The masses can wait :) Congrats to team DB!!!
Marijuana vapes, pre-rolls popular among US consumers seeking potency, innovation

Hey GreenIves!!! Didn't think we would get a second bite of the apple at these levels. Especially with Haywood Capital recently maintaining its buy rating and .60 price target. The whole cannabis sector is way down like it was last year right before DB ran to the 30s. Decibel has only reported market share gains since then, so I'm still bullish on Decibel in 2022. Good luck to us again GreenIves :)

Decibel Announces a Third Consecutive Month of Record Market Share in January

BGP!
You’re still putting out quality info and great post! Appreciate it.
Decibel also continues to produce and I can’t believe the current SP! I feel the cannabis sector will heat up summer/fall. IMO/hopes. Keep up the great vibes, and DD!
Canadian Retail Cannabis Sales Increased 29% in December to Record $382 Million
Hifyre IQ estimated that product categories have seen a shift towards non-flower products, which it estimates at a record 30% in December compared to 28.5% in November. In January, Hifyre estimates that non-flower products decreased to 29.5%, with a reduction in edibles driving the change.
https://www.newcannabisventures.com/canadian-retail-cannabis-sales-increased-29-in-december-to-record-382-million/
This is good news for Decibel that consumers are switching to concentrates and other non-flower products. This was the biggest revenue generating category for them in their last quarterly report. Almost double what they did in flower and retail sales individually.
The current oversupply of flower has no end in sight with 700+ LP's now competing for mostly flower market share. Westleaf was smart to invest early in a Cannabis 2.0 lab facility in addition to the Thunderchild cultivation facility.
Now during times of oversupply they can use their own flower for high margin 2.0 products over currently lower margin packaged flower. Liking that Decibel is moving more into concentrates that can be replicated consistently, over hit or miss flower harvest outcomes.
To me this recent selloff in the cannabis sector is crazy considering cannabis sales are at record levels. Seems like no amount of good news moves the needle. If things don't change soon profitable cannabis companies may have to offer dividends to investors to raise capital. This would be a smart move to give back to your cannabis community investors. Like me :) glta
Alberta stores preparing as online cannabis sales to go private in March
In High Level, 740 kilometres north of Edmonton, one cannabis store owner says she's not interested in selling online in Alberta.
"Everybody's going to be doing it," said Catherine Hill, who owns two stores called It's 420 Somewhere — one in High Level, another in Hay River, N.W.T.
Pot to be sold in Alberta private stores, on government website
It's easy to get into the online market, but that the market will be quickly saturated in Alberta — even in more remote locations, she said.
For now, Hill's focus is on creating an enjoyable in-store experience for shoppers.
"A lot of people also just love going in and speaking to their local bud tender."
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/alberta-cannabis-online-sales-private-1.6357872
With retail stores in Alberta Decibel would qualify for online delivery if they want to jump through hoops for the license. Seems like something that would only work economically for large retailers like Canna Cabana and Fire & Flower. Think the lady from 420 Somewhere is right to focus more on in-store customer experience. Still it might be to Decibel's benefit to have the license for the future. Decibel would also qualify for Farmgate Stores as a licensed producer in multiple provinces.
Wondering if DB even plans on keeping the stores once they have established in-house consumer R&D at The Plant. Personally I would keep the historic Palace Theater store for real time consumer feedback, and sell the rest for continuing automation and expansion. Delta 9 recently said they are looking to add stores in Alberta, and there is already a business history between the two companies. Win Win :) glta

**NEWS** Decibel Announces a Third Consecutive Month of Record Market Share in January
"Our market share growth continues to gain momentum, driven by the superior experiences that our brands and products offer to our customers, coupled with a focus on bringing new, unique and innovative products to market" said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Decibel. "With a strong footing established early this year, we are confident in maintaining and accelerating this pace of growth, through additional product launches, entry into new markets, and operational efficiency gains acting as catalysts to drive shareholder value this year."
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announces-third-consecutive-month-130000813.html
Happy to see Decibel is still growing market share when other big names are going backwards. DB is stealing market share with unique products like their new diamond infused pre-rolls. They keep going in and out of stock on the BCCS so you know they're selling as fast as they can make them. Knew these would be big sellers with all cannabis derived ingredients. Hoping they continue to focus on all cannabis infusions adding different cultivars going forward. Decibel was exceptional holding and growing market share during a raging pandemic. Thanks Team :) glta
**NEWS**Decibel Announces 2022 Financial Outlook, Strategic Priorities, and Organizational Alignment
Commenting on the Company's outlook, Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel noted the following:
"We have established a solid foundation through strong execution of our priorities in 2021 and are well positioned to execute on our 2022 objectives and achieve strong year over year growth in revenue and margins. Demand for our brands and products in the recreational market continues to exhibit strong growth, confirming our thesis that quality across category expansion, consistency, and revenue growth, will lead to creation of competitive advantages for years to come.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announces-2022-financial-outlook-130000217.html
Liking managements focus on maintaining a early mover advantage in the infused space. Smart. Noticed their recently launched diamond infused pre-rolls have sold out in BC. Will update when restocked. The whole infused category is just getting started. Surprised someone hasn't already infused milled flower to boost the flavor and THC. Delibel's cost advantage is they grow the flower and infuse the flower in-house. Most LP's can only do one or the other. Like :) glta

Happy to see Haywood maintaining its Buy rating and target price. Lots of things to like in this report. Enjoy :)
Found two new QWEST products on BC Cannabis Store Online. Looks like Decibel is amping up the voltage with Diamond infused Pre-rolls. Coming in hot with THC in the 30s and 40s %. Nothing like this is currently available in BC so we will see how long they last. My guess, not long :) glta

"With our debt refinancing now in place, we remain on the offense, growing revenue and closing 2021 with record market share driven through our core focus to elevate our consumer experience through quality combined with new, unique and innovative products" said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Decibel. Stellar numbers all around!!! #2 brand in Ontario vape sales is outstanding. Fully expect Decibel to be acquired for their market share now that conventional financing is fully in place. To me the next few quarters will determine the selling price along with a reasonable amount of goodwill for building the brands. Would prefer they hit $20M quarterly then sell for 3 to 4 times the annual run rate. Seems reasonable to me :) glta
**NEWS** Decibel Announces $54 Million Debt Refinancing with connectFirst, Increasing its Access to Debt by $20 Million

Glad to see DB replacing its convertible debt with lower interest conventional financing. Like that DB's books supported increased access to capital through traditional financing without dilution. Congrats to the DB team for keeping their finances in good shape :) always imho glta
Appears Decibel got their infused pre-rolls into Ontario...
Found this list on another message board showing upcoming releases in Ontario. Decibel's General Admission brand will be one of very few LP's with infused pre-rolls in Ontario, so they should be big sellers. They are also releasing another live resin vape cart using popular strain Orange Tingz. Lastly the premium milled flower selling for a value price sounds like a winner to me. Sometimes it's just easier and more convenient to buy it ground and ready to roll. Any product you can get into Ontario right now is like gold if they are what consumers want. Really liking the selection of products they got in as all are in popular categories. Congrats to the DB team once again :) glta

Hey GreenIves!!! Liking that DB's market share is increasing in line with record cannabis sales. With cannabis having proven itself pandemic proof it's surprising that cannabis stocks have dropped this far. To me it's like investing in alcohol companies, during stressful times people drink more. Cannabis sales appear to be just as resilient with record sales being reported everywhere. DB has done a great job with their General Admission vape brand coming in at #2 in Ontario, BC, AB, and SK. These are the high margin sales I like to see :) Congrats to the team!!! glta
Solid quarter from Decibel Cannabis, says Raymond James
Calgary-based Decibel Cannabis Company (Decibel Cannabis Stock Quote, Charts, Financials, News CVE:DB) just delivered third quarter earnings which registered top and bottom line beats of estimates from Raymond James analyst Rahul Sarugaser, and Sarugaser reviewed the results in an update to clients on Thursday where he reiterated his “Outperform 2” rating for the stock.

**NEWS** Decibel Announces Third Quarter Results with Strong Net Revenue Growth and Re-Appointment of Director
"Decibel's continued growth is a testament to our consumer focused approach, the strength of our brands, and our dedication towards producing high quality products for our customers", said Paul Wilson, CEO of Decibel. "We are closing out 2021 with strong momentum as we launch 40 new products, elevate the experience our products create for consumers, and innovate to meet cannabis consumers' evolving preferences."
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announces-third-quarter-results-130000198.html
Happy to see Decibel made it 5 for 5 positive EBITDA quarters. Really impressive 12.9% market share in the vape and concentrate categories across four major provinces. These are high margin products that can be consistently reproduced for the mass market. Flower has major variables on how each harvest turns out. DB seems to understand cannabis companies need product consistency to retain customers and build brand loyalty. Concentrates can do that in ways flower just can't. Glad to see Decibels Cannabis 2.0 sales becoming the majority of their revenue. To me this was another positive step in the right direction for the company. Congrats to the decibel team on another big quarter. glta
**NEWS** Decibel Announces Launch Into New Product Category, Infused Pre-Rolls
"We are incredibly excited to launch the first series of our infused pre-rolls under the General Admission brand" said Warren Matzelle, Decibel Sr. Vice President of Innovation & Retail. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/decibel-announces-launch-into-new-product-category-infused-pre-rolls-301420875.html
Infused pre-rolls are a great marriage of flower and concentrates. Both of which Decibel produces in-house. Decibel will be one of the first movers on this so they should grab some good market share. Like they did with concentrates.
Hey GreenIves!!! Pretty cool that Decibel now has the #2 Vape Brand in Canada. We where there when all they had was potential. Decibel has really come a long way in a short amount of time. Congrats to team DB :) glta
**NEWS** Decibel to Announce Third Quarter Results on November 18
CALGARY, AB, Nov. 1, 2021 /CNW/ - Decibel Cannabis Company Inc. (the "Company" or "Decibel") (TSX-V: DB) (OTCQB: DBCCF), a premium cannabis producer, is pleased to announce the Company will release its 2021 third quarter financial results and related management discussion and analysis on November 18, 2021 before markets open.
https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/decibel-announce-third-quarter-results-120000104.html
Now that Decibel has economies of scale with Thunderchild they can lower prices to gain more market share without excessive sales force expenses. Price is still the driving force behind cannabis sales followed by THC percentage. Right now it's much more cost effective to lower prices to gain market share than hiring a expensive in-house sales force. Store owners on Reddit say they don't want to be bothered by salesmen during working hours anyway.
Many companies are quietly using social media to promote their products on the cheap. Now that Qwest has established itself as a ultra-premium brand they can lower prices without incurring the value brand stigma. Looking forward to DB's upcoming earnings report. Fingers crossed for another profitable quarter :) glta

Great News GreenIves!!! Especially Thunderchild achieving full run-rate in August. This should supply all the ultra-premium biomass they need for concentrates in-house. Also nice to see DB remains a Top 10 LP. Really good considering there are 300+ LP's with standard licenses.
Believe DB's recent price drop was overdone. The market cap is now below the revenues Raymond James is projecting for DB in 2022. Not even close to a reasonable 2x to 4x annual sales MC. Especially for a company that has produced positive EBITDA the last four quarters. DB team making a big strides forward. Like :)
Holding strong GreenIves!!! Good Luck GI & GLTA
Buy Decibel Cannabis at a discount to its peers, says Raymond James
Look for Decibel Cannabis (Decibel Cannabis Stock Quote, Chart, News CVE:DB), to begin ramping up its business after completing a new financing round. That’s the scuttlebutt from Raymond James analyst Rahul Sarugaser who in a September 23 report maintained a rating of “Outperform 2” on Decibel while dropping his target share price from $1.00/share to $0.85/share for a projected one-year return of 254 per cent.
Headquartered in Calgary, Decibel Cannabis is an agro-based licensed producer and retailer of premium craft cannabis with three production houses: its Qwest estate in Creston, BC, the Thunderchild cultivation facility in Saskatchewan and a 15,000-square foot extraction facility called The Plant.
Sarugaser’s latest analysis comes after Decibel announced it had secured additional financing, closing on a previously announced bought deal for gross proceeds of $15 million.
“We view [the financing] as a significant de-risking event for the company—improving its debt to equity ratio—and providing fuel for DB’s operational and commercial ramp during the next 12 months,” Sarugaser said, attributing the target drop to a dilution, though he noted that the company now presents a 70 per cent discount to its peers compared to the 65 per cent discount presented during Sarugaser’s coverage initiation in August on account of an asymmetrical post-financing decline.
As evidence of the company’s growth ramp, Sarugaser noted that the company is getting ready to launch 27 new products within the Ontario markets, including 14 new flower products (six jarred SKUs, six pre-rolls, a blended milled flower, and a General Admission large format pre-roll) and 13 vape and concentrate products, including six under the Pressed by Qwest brand and seven under the General Admission label.
“With our $15 million oversubscribed equity financing now closed, we are now positioned for Decibel’s next stage of growth through high return on capital investments, which expand our capacity and gross margins, as well as accelerating our already robust 2022 product pipeline.” said Paul Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of Decibel in the company’s September 22 press release announcing the closed financing. “We remain focused on expanding our market share as we fully realize the impact of our 2021 growth initiatives in the fourth quarter.”
The company’s performance also speaks to Sarugaser chronicling the company’s rise to become a top-ten licensed producer in Canada on account of market share, with its three per cent clip in August good enough to lock up ninth place, and a belief that mid-month data in September indicates that Decibel’s market share is durable on account of in-line growth.
“We continue to be impressed by this company’s finely tuned approach to brand formation and product development, grounded firmly in a closeness to North American cannabis culture,” Sarugaser noted.
Though Decibel initially made its name in the premium cannabis market through the Qwest label, Sarugaser notes that the company has worked to understand unattended market niches and serving them with well-honed brands and superior craft cannabis products, with its General Admission brand helping the company rise to third place in the Canadian vape market just behind Tilray, while the Blendcraft and Pressed by Qwest brands have together impelled Decibel’s ascent to second place in the steadily growing loose concentrates category.
The update has prompted small changes to Sarugaser’s financial metrics, as he now projects $55 million in revenue for 2021 compared to the original $56 million target for a potential year-over-year increase of 83.3 per cent, with a slight increase to $91 million (previously $90 million) projected for 2022, marking a potential year-over-year increase of 65.5 per cent.
Sarugaser also made changes to key valuation metrics, as he forecasts the company’s EV/Revenue from 2020 to be 4.7x instead of 5.1x, with further projections of 2.6x for 2021 (previously 2.8x) and 1.6x for 2022 (previously 1.7x), while the EV/EBITDA projections have also improved, with a revised 2020 figure of (389.4)x compared to the initial forecast of (423.1x), with shifts to 21.3x for 2021 (previously 22.9x) and 8.4x for 2022 (previously 9.2x) in play.
Meanwhile, Sarugaser’s EBITDA projections remain unchanged for 2021 ($7 million, 12.7 per cent margin) and 2022 ($17 million, 18.7 per cent margin), respectively.
With the new financing earmarked for product development, infrastructure projects and building out its key cultivation facility, The Plant, Sarugaser believes Decibel is well-situated to continue broadening its exposure to key Canadian cannabis market segments as it prepares a move to its next revenue step change.
“It is not outside the realm of possibility, in our view, that DB would begin hunting for strategic M&A opportunities to shore up (or build anew) its foundation in certain market segments,” Sarugaser said. “Given DB’s dominance in inhalables (particularly vapes, concentrates), we could see the company courting players in the ingestibles space, or potentially looking to bolt on locally-significant craft cannabis brands.”
Overall, Decibel’s stock price has risen 133.3 per cent for the year to date, reaching a high point of $0.36/share on August 9.

Hey GI & FH, Sounds like Decibel scored big in the recent Ontario product call. Ontario has been real picky lately about accepting new SKU's so DB products must be selling well for them to take so many. Ontario dwarfs the other provinces sales wise so now Decibel is sitting pretty with a load of new products getting ready to launch. Make sure you check out the new Decibel investor presentation by clicking on the link. Lots of new info on DB market share by category. Spoiler Alert: It's Good News :) GL GI & FH
