Hold on.. There are people out there that don’t keep their Girl Scout cookies in the freezer and actually reheat their pizza??
The potato chips in the fridge thing I think is probably geographically specific. It’s stupidly humid where I am but keeping chips in the refrigerator results in soggy chips after a day or two.
LOL! Not my “jam,” but to each their own.
Maybe it’s their emotional support peanut butter?
Can’t say that I would, either. I guess if I was feeling especially peckish, I might buy a single serve packet from the airport but never an entire jar.
That’s a scary thought.
I would imagine those XRay machines are pretty adept and sussing those out. I could be wrong, though.
This is an interesting little article that helps explain why the TSA is so particular.

It certainly isn’t a solid! And if you leave an open jar of peanut butter on its side for long enough, it does eventually ooze out (even the chunky stuff). So maybe people would be more comfortable calling it a gel?
I bet it would be tasty, even if it didn’t have the effect one might be looking for.
Sticking with the theme of the last few weeks, have you tried logging out and back in?
You can see the terms of your suspension on your profile page. The rules apply to everyone equally, therefore putting yourself in a position to earn repercussions has no benefit to anyone.
Glad I could help!
Did you log out, back in, and try it again?
GOOD EVENING EGOC POSTERS: It has become apparent that a reminder is needed as to the focus of this board. This board is for posting about EGOC. It is NOT to discuss other users, the rules of the site, deletions, whether or not you agree with the mods, Admin, your feelings about the rules of this site, vocabulary lessons, etc.
If you cannot keep the TOS in mind when posting, you put yourself at risk for post removal and further sanctions. There have all ready been sanctions issued today. Be mindful not to find yourself on that list.
Any reply to this post will be off topic and subsequently removed.
That’s a good age! Playing, coloring, and after school snacks? Sounds like a good life to me!
I don’t think I realized he was 74. In my head, he was only in his 50s.
Oh, man! I hadn’t even heard about him passing. That is sad.
Meatloaf, yes. John Hurt passed in 2017.
Can you whistle?
Nah, just pop your cell phone in the cup holder. Works like a charm!
I’m not sure that, um, milk recipe would be well received. I could be wrong, though.
As a reminder, since it is clearly an issue again today, if your post does not directly relate to AVXL then it does not belong on this board. If you would like to bicker about oil and politics, you are welcome to do so on any one of the variety of political boards on this site.
If you feel staying on topic is difficult to manage, do not be surprised if you find your posting on this board restricted.
As always, any reply to this post is off topic and will be removed as such.
Here’s an important announcement:
Our dear friend and associate Admin Tisha will be leaving us at the close of business on Tuesday. She has been a member of our Admin team for five and a half years and will be missed.
Please join us and wishing Tisha well in her future endeavors and aspirations.
If I had my guess, that might make a difference. However, I’m not a Geek so I could be way off.
Using Safari? I don’t have an issue with the Next button on my iPad using Safari.
Clicking N on the keyboard for “Next” still works for me.
What makes you think we’re so flooded with reports of posts that don’t actually violate the TOS? What you’re suggesting is trying to make the devs do work that isn’t needed and doesn’t improve functionality of the site at all. If anything, it unnecessarily complicates the site for every other user.
There’s nothing preventing you from adding a comment now. If someone has the conviction to report a post, making them add a comment isn’t going to deter them from making the report. It just adds extra stuff for us to go through.
Honestly, if people would follow the TOS when posting then I think that would drop the reports significantly. However, since there’s always going to be someone breaking the rules, I guess we’ll just have to deal with all those darn reports that are so easy to do.
You should only be logged into one device at a time so when you log in with a different device it will log you out of the last device you were using.
Good afternoon, TGLO board! It has become glaringly apparent that a reminder is needed that here that this board does not care about your political opinion. There are a good number of political boards that would love to hear you wax poetic about the state of affairs in politics or the state of the country to your heart’s content and you are welcome to utilize them as you wish. However, when you are on this board your opinions about politics, other posters, the site and it’s rules, or other unrelated tickers are irrelevant, off topic, and do not belong here. Posters finding themselves unable to refrain from posting about topics other than TGLO on the TGLO board may be sanctioned. Please find the topic and get back on it.
As always, replies to this post will also be off topic and removed as such.
Friendly off-topic posts have always been allowed in moderation on this site, particularly on boards like this one that are not stock-specific. It is part of basic human interaction and whether anyone likes to admit it or not, this is a social media site, albeit not as frivolous as the more widely acknowledged ones out there.
It would be reasonable to think that other posters that have been around for longer than you have might already know the answers to your questions and be able to provide them for you without needing to wait for Admin response, as Homebrew has done in this instance and other posters have done throughout your several weeks of asking the same questions repeatedly and never liking the answer. Has no one ever told you that asking the same question over and over will not result in a different answer?
I may or may not make dressing/stuffing/whatever you want to call it randomly throughout the year.
It’s a texture thing for me. The flavor is great. The texture is awful.
I peruse that board occasionally. It’s actually on my Favorites. I might have actually posted there once or twice in the past. I’d have to look.
Do you play around with your cranberry sauce recipe, too? I like to try different things to see how it changes the taste and texture and whatnot. This year, I used OJ instead of the water I was taught to use, cut my sugar by half and subbed the rest for Stevia, and added cinnamon. In the past, I’ve added orange marmalade to a couple of batches. It was tasty, but I’m still not a fan of orange zest.
I’ll not talk about how long I was here before I noticed that tab. LOL
I do love stuffing!
However, it’s all about the cranberry sauce for me. Not the garbage canned stuff. It takes 10 minutes to make cranberry sauce and it’s so much better than the trash in a can they sell in grocery stores.
