Over 5,000 individuals with clinical levels of depression and comorbid anxiety who completed CloudMD’s Therapist Assisted iCBT program experienced reliable symptom improvement.
CloudMD Software & Services Inc. (TSXV: DOC, OTCQB: DOCRF, Frankfurt: 6PH), a healthcare technology company revolutionizing the delivery of care, is excited to announce the positive results of a comprehensive, evidence-based study on the outcomes of therapist assisted internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy (“TAiCBT”).
Since 2020, CloudMD’s leading, clinically based TAiCBT provider, MindBeacon, has successfully treated thousands of people with clinically severe levels of depression and co-morbid anxiety. The results of the study released have proved the effectiveness of TAiCBT treatment for depression and anxiety.
Depression is a leading cause of disability and absence for all Canadian employers and the leading cause worldwide, impacting 350 million people. In Canada, around 11% of men as well as 16% of women will be impacted by the condition throughout their lifetime. Close to half of people who suffer with depression (46%) will also experience anxiety in their lifetime, often at the same time. Knowing this, MindBeacon recently completed a study to seek
- a) the effectiveness of its depression protocol for those experiencing symptoms of both depression and anxiety, and
- b) the relationship between moderating factors (e.g., client characteristics), mediating factors (e.g., patterns of client and therapist engagement) and symptom reduction.
Highlights:
- Conducted a comprehensive analysis of two years of data, representing 12,839 people who consented to treatment for symptoms of depression.
- Treated thousands of people with clinically severe levels of depression, and thousands of people with clinically severe co-morbid anxiety.
- 77% of clients start treatment with clinical level symptoms (a score of 10 or more on the PHQ9) of depression; 56% are suffering from clinical levels of both depression and anxiety symptoms (a score of 8 or more on the GAD7).
- On average, clients start treatment with a depression symptom score in the moderately severe range (16) and finish with a score in the moderate depression range (10).
- Initial symptoms, amount of treatment readings and frequency of engagement all contribute to symptom improvement.
- More than half of clients with clinically severe symptoms experience reliable symptom improvement.
- This compares very favourably with other forms of treatment and TAiCBT studies and experience in other jurisdictions.
- Clients with a range of engagement patterns can benefit from TAiCBT, clients who stretch out engagement over 4 or more weeks experience optimal results.
- This is also consistent with past research showing that increasing engagement increases the number of clients achieving reliable clinical change.
The study was based on a comprehensive analysis of two years of data from January 2020 – December 2021. Clinical levels for depression are defined as a score of 10 or more on the PHQ9. On average, clients started treatment with a depression symptom score in the moderately severe range (16) and finished with a score in the moderate depression range (10). A reduction of 6 points in PHQ9 is considered a reliable change. In summary, nearly half of clients experienced a reliable change in their depression symptoms by the end of treatment.

After studying the effectiveness of its TAiCBT, the Company found that more than half of clients who actively engaged with the programs for four weeks or more saw symptom improvement, even if they completed few readings. Initial symptoms, amount of treatment readings and frequency of engagement all contributed to symptom improvement in the end.
The effectiveness of the Company’s TAiCBT programs showcase the support the program can offer to human resources and operational leaders as they help prevent absenteeism and leave of absence while taking employees forward on their wellness journey. For carriers, the program can help reduce the duration of disability claims, prevent short-term disability, and reduce absences at work due to depression.
“It’s not surprising that persistent engagement with the program is beneficial for symptom reduction but it is interesting that stretching engagement out appears to be more important that completing a lot of material in a short period of time,” said Matt Balcarras, PhD, clinical research lead at MindBeacon. “TAiCBT is designed to allow more choice and flexibility around the pacing of engagement, and we are pleased to show that our clients are able to find the pacing that works best for them,” he added.
The TAiCBT platform, with its high degree of client/therapist interaction and personalization to adapt to their individual needs and preferences throughout their treatment journey, is uniquely designed to foster continued client engagement leading to better outcomes. As shown in this study, CloudMD’s TAiCBT has proven highly effective treatment for people with clinical levels (moderately severe and moderate) of depression and comorbid anxiety.
Furthermore, CloudMD’s time to treatment at <5 days is 5 times faster than the 25 days Canadians typically wait for community health, or months or more for specialized support (e.g., post-traumatic stress). Earlier intervention has also been consistently shown to lead to better outcomes.

WIMI Hologram Academy, working in partnership with the Holographic Science Innovation Center, has written a new technical article describing their exploration of the application of computer animation technology, one of the VR technologies, in interior home design.
People are raising their requirements for life quality, especially in home design, as China develops rapidly in recent years. People not only want comfort, but also personalized customization. Improved indoor effect and reduced deviation between home design and actual situation have become significant research topics. Scientists from WIMI Hologram Academy of WIMI Hologram Cloud Inc.(NASDAQ: WIMI), discussed how to provide new ideas for interior home design based on virtual reality technology of computer animation and a more intuitive view of the desired effect of interior home design. With the help of computer 3D virtual animation, the corresponding 3D model is built. In the virtual reality of home design, users can use the simulation of the virtual interior design system to get an intuitive understanding of the interior of the home and all kinds of decorations and furnishings. In this case, it is more convenient for users to design their houses, thus further enhancing the quality and optimizing the effect.
By combining VRML with the corresponding programming scripts, we can build a realistic and practical virtual reality scene for users, which can avoid the dilemma of designing a home by visiting the sample and depending on users’ imagination. The VRML language, based on Web3D technology, is used to design a framework for interior home design based on virtual reality computer animation technology and to improve the corresponding interactive functions to help people realize a more convenient and efficient design.
1 Web3D-based virtual interior home design system
1.1 Status quo of interior home design
At present, when people furnish their new houses, they mainly rely on their imagination to decide the layout of the house and the residential demands. And they are not clear about the specific arrangement of the house space. Usually, customers and home design practitioners use plans to design the house, and the customer refers to similar effect drawings and some real pictures. Although some home design companies will provide customers with the corresponding 3D animation, it is still hard for customers to get an intuitive understanding of the design. Often, in the process of home design, the results differ greatly from the customers’ expectations. At the same time, to help customers better understand the design, real estate developers will provide reference for customers by setting up model homes. However, this is a waste of labor and money, and its types and quantities are limited, which is difficult to meet various needs. Combining computer animation with virtual reality technology for interior home design, not only saves resources, but also better meets the diverse needs of customers, which is the main trend in future research.
1.2 VRML-based VR home design
Through the analysis of the actual user needs, the virtual reality home design based on VRML should specifically achieve the following three functions.
- (1) User’s personalized needs should be met in the best possibility. Users should be able to query the specific information and quality of various types of furniture and furnishings through the virtual reality home design system, and to make modifications to home design, such as style, color, furniture etc.
- (2) Users should be able to not only have an overall view of the interior home design effect through the design system, but also be able to move freely in various locations in the room and make virtual interaction. And they should be able to discriminate functions of each part of the room at first sight.
- (3) Users should be able to intuitively and quickly understand the corresponding spatial scale, functional partitioning and traffic flow, etc., and have a relatively accurate grasp of the overall effect of the decoration when using the system. At the same time, users can give suggestions for personalized improvements based on their actual feelings, so that the design can be further improved before actual operation.
Through the demand analysis of virtual reality interior home design based on VRML, the corresponding home design process is summarized.
2 The construction of the scene model
2.1 Contents of scene model construction
Interior home design based on virtual reality computer animation technology is different from traditional interior modeling. In this system, the design model of all furniture should be as detailed as possible, while strictly following the actual dimensions of the drawings. The modeling includes the overall appearance and the internal structure of the furniture. At the same time, the corresponding interactive operations should be added to facilitate users to have a complete roaming experience. The main objects for the scene model building are shoe cabinets, closets, cabinets, wall cabinets, windows, doors and other kinds of furniture. For these furniture, independent MAX files should be made, and the corresponding WRL files should be generated to achieve more convenient modular operation and optimize the interaction in the virtual scene.
2.2 Scene model optimization
To ensure a more realistic virtual scene, the real-time rendering of the virtual scene system is required, usually at 12 frames per second or up. Therefore, in the process of model construction, the model should neither be very rough nor too fine, but should be reasonably considered according to practical requirements. Specifically, it should be built as far as possible through the form of polygon modeling, to ensure that users’ requirements are met in the most and avoid unnecessary waste. The design should reflect the details of the interior home and reduce the number of corresponding surfaces.
3 The generation of the main scene and its design
3.1 Integration of the main scene
In the virtual reality interior home design system, the scene integration mainly includes lighting, viewpoint and model design. Among them, the model design is the key. At the same time, the corresponding files of windows, doors and furniture should be independent and follow certain steps when integrating. In the plan, each furniture or door can be recognized as a mass point, and its spatial location coordinates are (Xn,Yn,Zn), and the corresponding VRML coordinates are (Xn,Yn,Zn) by combining the principles of the world coordinate system corresponding to VRML. Then, the Inline node and Transform node are used to combine the interior furniture according to the given location coordinates to build up the corresponding main scene. In this process, the interactive operations such as drawer pushing and pulling, cabinet door opening and closing should be encapsulated in the corresponding independent WRL files.
3.2 Design of the viewpoint
After the main scene is integrated, the position of the viewpoint corresponding to some of the scenes that the user may use should be defined by Position, and the orientation of the camera viewpoint is defined by Orientation. In VRML, although multiple viewpoints can be defined, there is only one current observation viewpoint.At the same time, it is possible to switch freely between viewpoints.
3.3 Implementation of interactive design
When users roam the interior space through the virtual reality system, we want them to feel the actual space of the room and also have a further detailed understanding of the interior home. By roaming through the virtual space, users can modify and adjust the style of the home and the position of the furniture in real time according to their own feelings, so as to achieve the interior design effect that meets their needs. This function needs to be achieved through a well-performing system. Specifically, the interactive functions include the modification of different styles of furniture, its placement and the information checking.
In VRML, the placement of furniture is achieved by using the extension node Transform2D. The nodes are rotated and geometrically panned. Switch node is used to change the style of the furniture, and it is used to record the rotation, translation and parameters modification made by the user through obtaining the operation data, and then it is input to the database to make the corrections of the home design.
3.4 Implementation of interactive animation
VRML needs to provide the corresponding interactive functions and give comfortable animations when users interact with virtual reality. This is what makes VRML relatively attractive among other systems. A variety of interpolators and their corresponding time sensors are used to control the integrated scenes to make the corresponding VRML animations. Specifically, in VRML animation, the time sensor is defined as a clock generator, whose main role is to control various time parameters such as interval, end time, and start time, and then interpolators are used to define the expected key of the nodes generated by various animations. In general, the user’s definition of the animation is generated by the system using linear interpolation.
4 Conclusion
In this paper, computer animation is applied as the basis for designing interior homes, and realize 3D modeling with the help of VRML language to achieve highly restored interior home design effects. We can see that this is simple and convenient, the cost is sensible, and is conducive to practical applications. The system can adjust the parameters and position of various home furnishings in the home design, so as to provide actual space arrangement effect. At the same time, the comprehensive interactive functions also provide greater convenience for users to carry out better home design.

First Quarter 2022 Financial Highlights
- Q1 2022 revenue was $41.4 million, compared to $38.7 million in Q4 2021 and $8.8 million in Q1 2021. The growth compared to Q4 2021 is primarily attributable to the consolidation of MindBeacon into CloudMD’s results, organic growth from the Employee Health Solutions (“EHS”) division offset by a decline in Digital Health Solutions (“DHS”) due to Vision Pros supplier issues. The increase compared to Q1 2021 is primarily attributable to organic and acquisition growth from the acquisitions completed in the last 12 months.
- Q1 2022 gross profit margin1 was 32.5%, compared to 30.0% in Q4 2021 and 40.9% in Q1 2021. The lower year over year gross profit margin was primarily due to revenue mix in the periods. The Company’s online vision care platform and patient support programs are lower-margin businesses and were not in the comparative period. The Company expects its gross profit margin to increase over the course of 2022 with the ongoing efforts to integrate its acquisitions and increase its operational efficiency.
- Net loss in Q1 2022 was $5.6 million or $0.02 per share, compared to a loss of $15.1 million or $0.06 per share in Q4 2021 and a loss of $5.3 million or $0.03 per share in Q1 2021. The year over year increase in net loss was primarily due to additional expenses incurred to support the Company’s growth strategy, including acquisition integration costs. The Company is highly focused on profitable growth and generating positive net profit is a key objective for the Company.
- Adjusted Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (“Adjusted EBITDA”) was a loss of $1.6 million in Q1 2022, compared to a gain of $0.6 million in Q4 2021 and a loss of $1.6 million in Q1 2021. The Company had a step back in the quarter due to the slightly higher run rate costs of MindBeacon which was acquired in January 2022; however, it has have made significant progress towards exceeding the planned acquisition synergies.
- Cash and cash equivalents were $46.9 million as of March 31, 2022, compared to $45.1 million on December 31, 2021. The increase is related to the completion of the MindBeacon acquisition and net cash acquired.
First Quarter and Subsequent Corporate Highlights
- On January 14, 2022, the Company announced the closing of the MindBeacon acquisition, creating one of North America’s most comprehensive integrated health offerings.
- In Q1 2022, CloudMD announced Daniel Lee resigned as CFO and Sean Carr was appointed as Interim CFO. Subsequently, the Company announced Dr. Essam Hamza was resigning effective May 2, 2022, and Karen Adams would be appointed interim CEO. The Board has initiated a process to identify the permanent CEO and CFO.
- On March 3, 2022, the Company announced its new Public Sector division. Operating within EHS, this division will focus on the investments being made in navigation of healthcare, an important part of our organic growth strategy across North America. In addition, this division will manage recently acquired customer contracts awarded from various state, local, and public sector organizations across North America.
- On March 31, 2022, the Company announced its cost optimization and operational integration activities. In a desire to simplify operations and improve execution, the Company eliminated $7.5 million of annualized run-rate costs from its business. This is aligned with the Company’s focus on driving sustainable profitability.
- On May 26, 2022, the Company announced the launch of Kii, Personalized & Connected Care, the new brand identity for its integrated, health services offering. Kii, is the company’s flagship offering which integrates several of its best-in-class technologies and services into one exceptional, connected, and personalized experience for employees that will continue to disrupt the traditional employer healthcare industry.

WiMi Hologram Cloud Inc. (WIMI), a leading hologram augmented reality (“AR”) technology provider, today announced that it has filed its annual report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2021, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”).
The Company reported that its revenues increased by approximately RMB 167.8 million, or 21.9%, from approximately RMB 766.0 million for the year ended December 31, 2020 to approximately RMB 933.8 million (USD 146.5 million) for the year ended December 31, 2021. The Company’s revenues consist of AR advertising services revenues, AR entertainment revenues and semiconductor business revenues.
The Company believes that a core element of the competitiveness of the holographic AR industry is research and development of technologies. The advancement of technology related to holographic AR will take the holographic AR experience, new services, products and capabilities, to newer stages of development.
Research and development expenses of the Company increased by approximately RMB 70.6 million, or 83.1%, from approximately RMB 85.0 million for the year ended December 31, 2020 to approximately RMB 155.6 million (USD 24.4 million) for the year ended December 31, 2021. The current research and development efforts of the Company are primarily focused on the research and development of the applications of holographic AR technologies in the areas of semiconductor, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, 5G and other areas in order to maintain its competitive advantages in the AR holographic industry.

Liquidity and Going Concern
The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, which contemplates the realization of assets and the satisfaction of liabilities and commitments in the normal course of business.
The COVID-19 pandemic’s resurgence globally and in many states or emergence of new vaccine-resistant strains of the virus could have a continuing negative impact on the brick-and-mortar retail sector, with consumers’ unwilling to visit retail stores, causing reduced consumer foot traffic and consumer spending. However, with a successful relaunch of the Smart Mirror portfolio using the online retail platform, the Company will not be as dependent on brick-and-mortar and e-commerce sites of Big Box retailers for our revenue streams as in previous years.
Our business operations and financial performance for the three months ended March 31, 2022 was adversely impacted by the developments discussed above. For the three months ended March 31, 2022 and 2021, the Company reported a decrease in net revenue from $438 thousand in 2021 to $263 thousand in 2022, a reduction of approximately $175 thousand or 40%. The net loss for the three months ended March 31,2022 and 2021 was approximately $461 thousand as compared to approximately $499 thousand in 2021. With these recurring losses, the cash generated from operations was negatively impacted and the Company utilized approximately $654 thousand of cash during the three months ended March 31, 2022
During the three months ended March 31, 2022 and 2021 the Company used approximately $654 thousand of cash in 2022 and provided $238 thousand in 2021 With the net operating loss of $461.3 thousand in the current period, the Company also used $526.3 thousand in building inventories for the new Smart Mirror programs in order to generate future ecommerce revenue.
As of March 31, 2022, the Company had working capital of approximately $1.522 million, an accumulated deficit of approximately $6.9 million, a cash balance of $624 thousand and a related party long term note payable of $1.043 million and $699.4 thousand of current liabilities for accounts payable and accrued liabilities. These conditions raise substantial doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern..
On April 5, 2021, the Company entered into five separate securities purchase agreements (“SPAs”) whereby the Company privately placed an aggregate of 2,496,667 shares of Common Stock for an aggregate purchase price $1,498,000 (transactions being referred to as the “Private Placement”). The five investors in the Private Placement consisted of four private equity funds nd one individual – all being “accredited investors” (under Rule 501(a) of Regulation D under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, (“Securities Act”). The $1,498,000 in proceeds from the Private Placement was used mostly to purchase start up a inventory for the Company’s new Smart Mirror product line, and the remainder for advertising and working capital.
The Company has been in discussions with alternate funding sources that offer programs that are more in line with the Company’s future business model, particularly a facility that provides funding options that are more suitable for the e-commerce business. The borrowing costs associated with such financing are dependent upon market conditions and our credit rating. We cannot assure that we will be able to negotiate competitive rates, which could increase our cost of borrowing in the future. On July 2, 2021, the Board of Directors resolved that the Company required a purchase order funding facility to procure additional inventory to support the online Smart Mirror business. The Board resolved that certain Directors could negotiate the terms of a Purchase Order Funding Agreement for up to $1,020,000 with Directors S. Wallach, J. Postal and E. Fleisig, a natural person. This agreement was finalized, and the Company received the $1,020,000 funding under this agreement on October 18, 2021.
Management is closely monitoring its operations, liquidity, and capital resources and is actively working to minimize the current and future impact of this unprecedented situation.
Based on past performances and current expectations, Management believes that with the recent $1,393,000 equity investment and the $1,020,000 purchase order funding facility and now with the recently negotiated $600 thousand working capital line (See Note 7) ,provides adequate liquidity to meet the Company’s cash needs for our daily operations, capital expenditures and procurement of the Smart Mirror inventory for the short-term. However, we will need to continue seeking additional funding through either debt or equity to continue meeting our financial obligations which consist approximately of $700 thousand of accounts payable and accrued expenses as well as a $1,043,000 note payable with related parties and accrued interest that becomes due in April 2023 until we are able to generate sufficient cash flows from the sale of the Smart Mirror inventory.

Inventories
The Company’s inventory, which consists of finished Thin Cast Smart Mirror products for resale to consumers by Capstone, is recorded at the lower of landed cost (first-in, first-out) or net realizable value. The Company writes down its inventory balances for estimates of excess and obsolete amounts. The Company reduces inventory on hand to its net realizable value on an item-by-item basis when the expected realizable value of a specific inventory item falls below its original cost. Management regularly reviews the Company’s investment in inventories for such declines in value. The write-downs are recognized as a component of cost of sales. As of March 31, 2022, and December 31, 2021, respectively, the inventory was valued at $1,035,196 and $508,920, respectively. The $526,276 inventory increase is the result of the buildup of Connected Surfaces inventory to support the online sales program.

Product Development
Our research and development consultants located in Hong Kong working with our designated contractor factories, are responsible for the design, development, testing, and certification of new product releases. Our engineering efforts support product development across all products, as well as product testing for specific overseas markets. All research and development costs are charged to results of operations as incurred. With the reduction of revenue resulting from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and combined with the transfer of manufacturing to Thailand, the CIHK operation was closed down in March 2022 and will remain in a dormant status. Two key management were retained as consultants to support product development and sales operations.

NOTE 4 – NOTES AND LOANS PAYABLE TO RELATED PARTIES
On January 4, 2021, the Company entered a $750,000 working capital loan agreement with Directors, Stewart Wallach and Jeffrey Postal. The short-term facility ended June 30, 2021.
In consideration for the Lenders providing the loan under this Agreement and agreeing to a below market rate of interest, and as payment of a finance fee for the loan on an unsecured basis, the Company issued to the Lenders the following securities 7,500 shares of the Company’s Series B-1 Convertible Preferred Stock (“Preferred Shares”) issued to each Lender. The Preferred Shares shall have the appropriate restrictive legends. Each Preferred Share converts into 66.66 shares of Common Stock at option of Lender . The Preferred Shares and any shares of Common Stock issued under the loan agreement are “restricted” securities under Rule 144 of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. The Preferred Shares have no further rights, preferences, or privileges. The fair value of the Preferred Shares was determined to be $48,996 based on the number of shares of Common Stock to be issued upon conversion and the market price of the Common Stock on the date the working capital loan agreement was executed. The Company amortized the $48,996 Finance Fee into interest expense over the six months of the agreement. The Finance Fee was recognized as expense and included in interest expense on the consolidated statements of operations.
On July 2, 2021, the Board of Directors (“Board”) resolved that the Company required a purchase order funding facility to procure additional inventory to support the online Smart Mirror business. The Board resolved that certain Directors could negotiate the terms of a Purchase Order Funding Agreement for up to $1,020,000 with Directors S. Wallach and J. Postal and E. Fleisig, a natural person who is not affiliated with the Company. This agreement was finalized on October 18, 2021, and the Company received the funding of $1,020,000 on October 18, 2021 which is due 18 months from receipt of the funds. Under this agreement the interest terms are 5% based on a 365- day year. This agreement shall continue in full force for 18 months from the start date. On March 31, 2022, the note payable of $1,042,915 includes accrued interest of $22,915.

Employment Agreements
On February 5, 2020, the Company entered into a new Employment Agreement with Stewart Wallach, whereby Mr. Wallach will be paid $301,521 per annum. The initial term of this new agreement began February 5, 2020 and ends February 5, 2023. The parties may extend the employment period of this agreement by mutual consent with approval of the Company’s Board of Directors, but the extension may not exceed two years in length.
On February 5, 2020, the Company entered into an Employment Agreement with James McClinton, whereby Mr. McClinton was paid $191,442 per annum. The term of agreement began February 5, 2020 and ended February 5, 2022.
Effective September 1, 2020, through March 31, 2021, payments equivalent to fifty percent of both Mr. Wallach and Mr. McClinton’s salary were deferred to be repaid in the future. As of December 31, 2021, $86,977 and $20,616 respectively, have been deferred until later in 2022. As of March 31, 2022, total wages deferred for Mr. Wallach were approximately $86,977 and $0 for Mr. McClinton.
On February 6, 2022, the Company entered into an Employment Agreement with James McClinton (Chief Financial Officer and Director), whereby Mr. McClinton will be paid $736.41 per day. The term of this new agreement began February 6, 2022 and ends August 30, 2022.

Effective May 1st the Company has finalized a marketing/ public relations agreement with Tongal, who will provide services for the development and creation of digital assets for use on the Company’s website, social media ads and other ecommerce websites such as Amazon. The platform fee will be $30,000 with production expenses additional. The initial period will be for six months. The Company can terminate the agreement with a written notice 30 days prior to the end of the Agreement and will automatically renew for a further six months at the same rate.

2. Application Status
2.1. Make VR products in full 3D reconstruction and interactive mode
This kind of technology is the early production method in the virtual reality field, and it is also the main production method of existing virtual reality products. That is, to reproduce the object or landscape to display, and then import it into the virtual reality engine, through certain program control, to achieve 360 free viewing effects. Pure 3D reconstruction to restore the original scenery, the advantages are good interaction and rich details; the disadvantages are the reconstruction workload, and the gap between the 3D reconstruction model and the real scene, mainly static display, animation production is very difficult.
2.2. Make VR products based on mixed reality technology
Mixed reality is a representative of the new generation of computer vision technology, which is a technology-based on VR and augmented reality. At present, it is at the forefront of technology in the world and is still a long way from extensive commercial use. Only a very small number of scholars globally have discussed its application in the cultural protection direction. This type of technology is based on real images taken by cameras, superimposing virtual images and making virtual images interact with real images. Such technologies mainly target augmented reality and do not create a sense of immersion in another space environment.
2.3. Making VR products based on 360-degree panoramic shooting
The 360-degree panoramic shooting method is the latest and rapidly developing technology. Through a special VR camera shooting multiple angles at the same time and then using the later method for splicing, special effects can be used to add extended content and information. The shooting and production method, combined with the appropriate VR playback equipment, allows the viewer to freely choose the Angle and content to observe, producing the best immersive experience. At present, there are many application examples of panoramic VR shooting technology for the evening parties, entertainment, wedding, news, and other scenes, but the application in cultural protection projects has not been found, and there are few relevant research and discussion materials.
From a technical point of view, the panoramic VR shooting technology in Europe and the United States is relatively mature, and the human's industry is also in the process of rapid development and technological improvement. But the post-production effect is not ideal, including splicing gap and nearest distance limitation; the special effects synthesis technology based on VR video is in the early stage, and few mature works appear.
