What's everyone's preferred place for candlestick charts? Scottrade sucks for pennies.
Another good one I just found is lowtrades.com.
http://lowtrades.com/
$5 trades
Here is a post about it:

Also, I guess just2trade.com is $2.50 trades.

"ValueSetters Inc. (Pink Sheets: VSTR) is pleased to announce that it has agreed to terms with a private equity firm and is scheduled to receive up to eight hundred and fifty thousand ( US$850,000 ) dollars."
Here's a bit of interesting information on private equity firms (from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_equity )
Private Equity investments can be divided into the categories described below:
Venture capital: an investment to create a new company, or expand a smaller company that has undeveloped or developing revenues
Buy-out: acquisition of a significant portion or a majority
control in a more mature company. The acquisition normally entails a change of ownership
Special situation: investments in a distressed company, or a company where value can be unlocked as a result of a one-time opportunity (Changing industry trends, government regulations etc.)
Private equity firms generally receive a return on their investment through one of three ways: an IPO, a sale or merger of the company they control, or a recapitalization.
...private equity fund investment is for those who can afford to have their capital locked in for long periods of time and who are able to risk losing significant amounts of money.
Still no response to my e-mail. Word is they are extremely busy.
Thanks for the clarification! I completely misunderstood. :)
Called the TA. No dice. They referred me to the officers of VSTR. I'm e-mailing them now. Will post their response.

Subject: Stock Structure
Mr. Geary,
Fortunately, today I found a window of time to contact First American Stock Transfer for an update on your stock structure. The individual with whom I spoke indicated they do not provide such information. Only officers may request the outstanding and authorized share structure. They proceeded to refer me to you.
In order to reduce the number of requests the company is likely to receive on this matter, perhaps it would be prudent to request the transfer agent to provide this information to investors. As you of course know, any additional transparency is greatly appreciated by the investment community. Meanwhile, when possible, can you provide the latest numbers for the float, authorized, and outstanding shares? I will relay this information to the VSTR board on Investors Hub (http://investorshub.com).
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,

Did you really mean to write $100,000? If so, are you implying that most of the float (5 million shares) is sitting at 0.02?
Your post, 1075:
"Well I bought in, and with my luck you will be all wrong. The price will stay at .02 forever. No loss No gain."
Interesting how you mentioned earlier that if the stock price stays at 0.02, you are satisfied.

Well, if you listen to the interview, he says it with finesse. Pretty much what you just said.
After the interview today, I intend to hold for a while. We'll see how the next few months unravel.
INFS +15% this morning.
Seems like most have left at this point. Hmm... too bad. :/
Woah. I missed this somehow. Thanks!! Will definitely check this out.
"Last time Miller did this nothing came of it price spiked and there were a few articles in Honolulu papers that questioned him about this and he admitted and he stated that he regretted he sold off into the news that never occurred."
Which ticker? Did this happen with MAUG?
Sup, everybody?
Lotto pick for me: Bought 15,000 shares of VSTR on 10/25/07 at 0.02 for $300. Target is 20 cents/share in 3 months.
TSXT looks like it might have a small run.
Supposedly. It said autographed (1st edition), but you know how that works sometimes. I remember ordering a used hard-back one time off of half.com, and when I received it, it was a soft-back. Then the guy got mad when I gave him a poor rating. Can you believe it?
Perfect. Thanks for the link! Autographed copy on its way. :)
I remember you and a few of the others talking about Burt's book. Did he write it? (I want to buy it.)
Nice. I'll definitely keep this one on a watch. After I learn a little more about it, I'm sure I'll invest.
Hey, Gulfbreeze! :) Interesting point. I don't really think he knew vehicles very well after his "general" remark about dependable automobiles. Everybody knows Hondas go about 300K on one engine. On the other hand though, for someone that has experience with the Obvio (I can't recall if he drove one), it is nice to see him rate it up there with the big names.
One of my biggest concerns about purchasing one of these is dependability. I have no idea whether Brazilian manufacturing is top notch. He allayed my fears somewhat. However, I will still not be one of the early adopters. I'll buy-in with the early majority.
End of day gap on VION looks mean if it is accurate.
0.50 x 0.89 according to two sources.
4 MMs on 0.025 ask? Geez.
Well... somebody just killed the engulfing pattern.
The CEOs that don't have the balls probably aren't worth the time anyway. :7 Hmmm...
I agree. 1 hour is probably too long. Maybe just say 30 minutes and allot 45 for extra questions if the interview goes really well.
One more thing I want to add is that listeners are more likely to ask the tough questions when they can type them. Less confrontational. This provides a new avenue for companies to communicate better with their shareholders.
Overall, I like the proposed interview format. The added interaction is nice. However, it seems all that interaction is too much for a 30 minute interview. He needs them to be at least 45 minutes... probably an hour. Taking phone calls and IMs (and moderating everything) just seems like it will take longer than 30 minutes...
Matt could probably pull it off though regardless of the time allotted.. :)
Nice jump on INPC today. +45% today.
Definitely. I have to see this. In comparison to the other shows out there, added interaction will make these sessions interesting. Can you imagine some of these CEOs answering the tough questions point blank? I LIKE.
I'm in PSPJ. Set my bid too low (0.0401) for TOFS. PSPJ is looking nice as long as they don't change their dividend date again. LOL
Completely missed HEMA. The chart concerned me a bit... but, you are right again so far. Up 0.07!
ATAR still looks interesting despite the news about selling assets... concerns me enough to back off of it, but this may just be a bottom... especially considering the uptick today.
Well, if no one is intentionally jacking with the chart, the 1 month weekly seems to look good. A doji, a hammer (or at least very close to a hammer), and then the engulfing pattern.
He said the only thing worth owning really (for middle-class America) was a Toyota or a Honda. However, he did say that the Obvio is a good pick as well.
I didn't say he was an expert. Just someone from South America with a little info. on the Obvio... :)
Agreed. Doing the interview on Monday seems intelligent. Sets the pace for the week.
Just an FYI for everyone interested in the Obvio...
I talked to a native Venezuelan, and he indicated that they do drive the Obvio there (he pronounced it Ob-veh-oh instead of Ob-vee-oh). FWIW, he said they rarely break down and are very dependable. This conversation occurred over a month ago. Therefore, I may be forgetting a few other tidbits. If I recall them, I'll certainly post them. Regardless, the foremost topic of discussion was the Obvio and how it is built better than American vehicles.
Good point. It would be nice to know the details. I agree wholeheartedly.
A regular merger is where both companies remain entact, whereas a reverse merger is where the private company owns the shell after the transaction. We had a regular merger. ValueSetters and 30Fold are operating together rather than 30Fold taking over a "shell."
Does this make sense? 30Fold is a wholly owned subsidiary as opposed to taking over a dormant shell.
Now we're talking:

I'm wondering if the float or outstanding shares changed... Anybody checked the latest numbers from the TA lately?
