A 1% penetration of just the US Market for RED SUN and MAGIC (all international sales ignored) would be roughly equivalent to $1B in market capitalization for XXII (share price of roughly $18-19). Similar metrics (x% = $xB MC) have been used to valuate Lorillard (LO), who only sells products in the US. Last I checked LO captured about 14% market share.
For every 99 packs of competitor's product sold in the US, XXII would need to sell just one pack of their super-premium brands to maintain that 1%.
Of course, the super-premium cigarette sales are just one of 5 (many more if you count wild cards possible with their patented plant biotechnology and ability to manipulate genes: MJ, biofuel, tobacco-based vaccines, etc.) potential revenue streams publicly stated by the Company that can contribute to 22nd Century's valuation going forward.
JustfactsMam has provided those details of the other Company-disclosed revenue streams in a previous post, so I will not be redundant.
