The valuation is based off of whatever the total shares are, issued and outstanding, not the authorized... So in this case around 38.5% of the Regen shares are being spun off to BMSN shareholders... (20,000,000/51,900,000=.385) So yes, the over 25% rule for determining the Ex-date to follow the Payable-date should apply. I don't know how anyone or any entity has determined the Ex-date to be March 20th... when all official research indicators suggest the Ex-date should be Wednesday March 26th, the day after the Payable-date. It just doesn't make any sense. Something is screwy here... And if I don't hear anything official coming from the company regarding the Ex-date, I myself am going to assume the Ex-date is March 26th and won't dare sell a single share of BMSN holdings until then. That would be the safest position to take IMHO! I will not lose my Regen dividend shares over a potentially ridiculous unknown error and mistake in processing of the distribution date for entitlement of the dividend, intentionally done by some entity or otherwise. Be smart everyone! HOLD your BMSN shares at least until the day after the Regen shares are delivered into your brokerage accounts! Best wishes! :-)
