Thanks Jim - I was aware that he sold but your previous statement about him leaving for riches didn't make sense to me with that kind of ownership in the company. I think he was named in the class action suits against the company (3?) and the pre-trial issues around the Qualcomm case? That would help to send him to the door?
There's certainly been a lot of happenings in the company in the 90s that I hadn't been aware of (Burns departure was facinating)....not really the subject of the 2003 model year IDCC - but interesting reading while I was digging to find out how Harry came to be a director, and then COB....which I still can't quite figure out.
