Rox re IDCC's financial circumstances in 1994
IDCC had received only $3m of licensing revenues in the preceeding three years 1991, 1992, and 1993 combined. They were selling the Ultraphone system, but I don't have those product revenue figures handy. However, in 1994 significant licensing revenues finally began. IDCC settled with Q for $5.5m, entered into a license with Matsushita involving a $20m advance, and received about $3m from another licensee, who we think might have been AT&T.
