Bluesky the downside with institutional ownership is that they generally won't whine but will sell in a minute, if things don't go right. I'm not sure, but I would guess that the vast majority of the tremendous selloff after the latest 10K was published came from institutional selling. IDCC has been fortunate in a way to have a large pool of loyal individual shareholders, who have kept giving management the benefit of the doubt year after year. What do you think will happen if many more institutional investors come in, and IDCC fails to properly execute or communicate? I hope you are right in your assertation that IDCC has entered into a new stage of its development with the Ericy resolution, and that the past is truly past.

Blueskywaves, thanks for your spirited support of managment, I and many others here have put in their time on that 'duty' here and on the other boards for awhile, and it is good for the share price to have an old long come back and contribute. I remember your unwavering support of IDCC and shareholders back in the heady days of late '99, and it's good to have you back.

But, from your post..."More institutions, less
whiners....hehehe"

What good does it do the shareprice, or the interests of shareholders here, to be so divisive? I know those on both sides of this 'divisive' issue have been guilty of polarizing posts, as I admittedly have been one of the worst at times in the past. But I wish we could continue to just discuss the pros and cons of the issue, that each shareholder will be making their own decision on, without trying to characterize the other side as some sort of disloyal or "whining" shareholder. That is not the issue at all, IMO.
