I understand what the funny is. I did chuckle when I first read it. And if Iraq was a video game, we could just mow everything down, hoop and holler, and go home.
I know there's quite a few "southern boys" that aren't into indiscriminate killing to "get the job done" and I really don't think you are either.
The US is in Iraq to take out the bad guys, protect the innocent, and nation-build. That's not easy, it ain't a game, and it wasn't meant to be fun. Fun with toys means more dead civilians, more hatred of the US and more pissed off Muslims.
And that ain't getting the job done, it's just making it worse for the next president and the next soldier.
