Normally the biotech you invest in owns the IP. The IP is what (you own) and invest in. Then later if successful the company licenses the IP to third parties.
Here you don't own the IP but do own a license as a third party.
Into perpetuity, until it get's broken.
NNVC is paying/has paid to develop the IP and therefore NNVC should own the IP.
Before I met my wife I was working on a large sailing ship called "Le Ponant".
6 years ago the Ponant was crossing a dangerous sea infected by pirates. No passengers were on board, only the crew.
They were Hijacked by the pirates, they took the boat and request for money. They went right in direction of Somalia. The French government sent its troops, there were exchanges of gunfire. And of course this band of criminals escaped. Fortunatly the crew was safe.
This reminds me of what happened to us and NNVC we have been hijacked by pitrates.
