Debt for equity is what leads to the NOL Exception for title 11 some goober in YMB is talking about. Debt for equity will happen when they can no longer convert anymore assets to cash. Whatever illiquid assets are left the creditors will take by converting the remaining ALLOWED CLAIMS TO EQUITY thus ending the BK....go figure
