Government is slowly coming around. First step was to decriminalize it. Now we have to see who wants the legacy of changing marijuana from Schedule I to II or III.
The only main issue I see for marijuana is if the state & federal government were to green light it w/o the proper regulations and oversight. THC levels in the 20's or lower may be OK for over-the-counter consumption for adults, but there marijuana-based products that boast to have THC levels in the 70's. IMO, the type of consumption (over-the-counter, prescription, ban) should be based on THC levels after standardized clinical studies are conducted. There is already some testing being performed for the lower THC levels in the US and in Israel. Sanjay Gupta's documentary was pretty informative.
If a company even mentions a cannabis product, the stock flies. Amazing to say the least. Profitable for those who perform DD and look to trade instead of invest in most of these stocks. A future problem for those who invest and hold on faith.

I also think one's potential addiction to pot comes more from a person's desire to escape the issues that they are facing rather than the plant itself (at the lower THC levels).
