Hope they (DEWN owners) know that HEMP is not marijuana. It's just a commercial product like green tea or earl gray. Both are cannabis plants, but Hemp has little THC. That gets one high. Hemp is and has in the past been, one of the most versatile industrial plants in the world. Hempcrete is lighter and stronger then concrete, and hemp plastic is bio degradable. And as this guy says, hemp oil could be a effective answer to add to the alternative energy bucket.

But our government knows best.

I know a little about cannabis from my hippy days. When the government out lawed it completely they made a big mistake. Killing the commercial and industrial uses for hemp. Threw out the baby with the bath water. And as for marijuana, don't get me started about comparisons with alcohol or tobacco. My son is a cop, he says please stop drinking and smoke pot. He'd have 99% less violent family calls or car accident death. He laughs pot heads drive 15 miles an hour UNDER limit and drunks 15 OVER the limit. Lets talk about cigarettes , Tobacco kills tens of thousands, yet marijuana help ten of thousands. Addictive. I could & did quit pot any time I wanted, But have been kicking cigarettes for years.
