Yes, but people must need know all the facts, he can't be understood without knowing the good/the bad/the ugly.
Was he hedged on his short position?
i say that, because if it was Soros, he would have been hedged.
Nederhoffer (sp?) when his fund went bust to absolute total zero, he freely admitted he committed an unforgivable trader sin he bet all his clients money with NO hedge.( he said for the papers anyway that he was disgraced and the rest of his life will trying to make up for it)
He went 100% short and the next day the market exploded upwards---lost what? 100million in one day?? Something like that---he had to liquidate his entire fund and had nothing left.

I agree

I thought he was more of a positiontrader however with the new computer technology I wonder if he would have been more a swing trader now,or a day trader since IMHO it is more profitable to swing or day trade
