Hmm...I still think semi-custom chips using Intel's IP makes sense here, but who knows what Google's doing. Intel really is great at building server processors, though, so I'm not sure what advantage Google would hope to have.

We'll just have to see, I suppose.

I suppose it could be doing its own design, I'd have thought it would make more sense for them to go to an established design house like AMD who did the XBox One and PS4 chips.
