I apologize if I've been a bit over the top here, but you know better than anybody how frustrating Intel's mobile execution has been.

I found it oddly comforting that you had the conviction to sell half of your shares. Why? You are one of the most rational and thoughtful posters on this board and have been a bull for years. If even you were disappointed enough to sell half of your shares, then I'm probably not wrong in being so frustrated with the company's execution in mobile.

You probably realize this, but when things go wrong, you can't change it with the snap of a finger. Seems like the program went wrong quite some time ago, and Intel has been executing to a new POR ever since. But after reading enough posts by you, it would seem like Intel is making new mistakes every single day.



I just wish Intel would be more forthright about what happened rather than simply go quiet. Help investors understand exactly what went wrong and tell us what you plan to do to improve it.

Just being open with your investors and treating them like equal partners in this venture can go a long way to making people feel comfortable. I'm not asking that they mail out daily roadmap updates, but any hint on how much traction Intel is seeing with Merrifield would have been very comforting, instead of the constant whispers and rumors that I get sent to my inbox almost daily about how Intel has basically written it off and is trying frantically to pull in Moorefield.
