I know - it's probably coming at MWC. But you do realize that this chip was designed to be a "high end" chip but is now relegated to fighting mid-range Snapdragons in the mainstream segment of the market...right?
Yes, and if I were somehow living under a rock for the last year or two, picking any random post from you in the last several months would have given me more than I needed to know.
Also, if you look at Intel's 2012 roadmap, Merrifield was supposed to be Tangier SoC + XMM 7260. Intel is now releasing Merrifield with XMM 7160.
Something must have gone really, really wrong with the development of this platform.
You probably realize this, but when things go wrong, you can't change it with the snap of a finger. Seems like the program went wrong quite some time ago, and Intel has been executing to a new POR ever since. But after reading enough posts by you, it would seem like Intel is making new mistakes every single day.
