No doubt there has been some excellent opportunities to trade based upon these schemes. But as I told one person, don't brag about your "unrealized" gains... because tomorrow it could all be gone before the market even opens...
Thanks for bringing up something I didn't bring up in my original post... The IRS... lol..
The Marijuana industry has been making a lot of people a lot of money especially the ones that caught this fad early on when it first started to catch fire at the end of 2013.
It is scarey just looking at the profit potential from the marijuana tickers since Promotion Stock Secrets published the following report for its members on December 29, 2013 about the Marijuana Industry catching fire:
As a testimate to how crazy the marijuana industry has gotten over the past few weeks the number of tickers claiming to be involved in the marijuana industry has grown from about 30 to 79 tickers as of today:
Obviously only a small percentage of the current 79 tickers are legitimate companies with real business operations, and the legal issues (Federal Laws) surrounding the industry make understanding just how legitimate only that much more difficult.
The Industry is quickly being diluted down with more and more tickers entering the industry. The more the industry gets diluted down by more and more tickers claiming to be pot stocks the harder it will become to ride the momentum and profit off the industry as a whole.
Almost daily we see 3 - 4 new tickers put out some kind of news about marijuana to draw volume to their stock.
It has gotten so bad that pumper groups will actually go around front loading dead or rarely traded pink sheet junk tickers and then start "future pot ticker" rumors to create volume to sell into for profits. We've even started seeing fake blog posts and fake "news". The Pot Industry has become a scammer's paradise.
