The moderators are welcome to segregate it, identify it as their own, and indicate their sentiment if they wish. If fact we often suggest that they segregate their section with horizontal lines and tag it with their alias so that the other mods know that it's theirs and don't edit it.

Are members really unable to figure that out? And you don't take into account the fact that sometimes mods change their opinion about stocks whose boards they moderate.
