EconEli: Then my vote is still "NO". I would not want existing employees (as in Executive Directors, Board Members ... I'm sure you know what I mean) getting anything additional. Incremental bonuses that are no more than 10% of their base salary seems fair on an annual basis. If they achieve higher levels of success, then put some additional option grants to a vote and let the investors award them for what they did. Overcompensating of oneself is easy when you are the one judging you. When was the last time you heard someone say they didn't have a rough day at work. All the people I employ say it all the time. I laugh inside though when I hear this one calling her mother and that one calling their girlfriend on my time.
