Agree...details, I've never been great at that. We're talking about a shortcut though sand in a world where the Northwest Passage will be open for a few months of the year in 10 years and longer than that in 50 years.

When I say no one will care, I'm not making a geographic observation. I mean no one will care about the humans living in that area, (unless you're Bill Gates and you have no idea what to do with a few billion). The Middle East is Somalia or the Sudan by mid Century. When the oil nations run out of oil they are like the rest of Africa. No one will care about any human living there. I don't think I'm exaggerating, I'm just observing.

When you consider this area, think long term 9/11 revenge. America may not be fair in some ways but America does not forget. There will come a time when we need the Middle East as much as we need Chad. You don't want to live there when that day comes. We have a long memory. Some of us still don't care much for Brits.
