So the question is, if the truth is that the shares weren't in my account because they were loaned to shorts, do I have any recourse against TD? Or is this one of those disclosures I didn't bother to read?

The problem was with tdameritrade and others
No problem on the companies end
Most trading houses had no problem

TD Ameritrade told me it was PVCT's transfer agent Broadridge Corporate Issuer Solutions that "held" the shares because of the name change. I called TD twice and both of the TD Reps told me the same thing. Both of them told me my shares were "held up" at Broadridge. I'll definitely be calling... More

Yes please let us know. I called TD to sell and they said they didn't have the shares in my account. That was at around $4.50. By the time I had the shares, it was 2.80. It seems they owe me the difference. I watched this closely because I knew it could fall really quickly, but then I wasn't able to sell when the fall happened. Unbelievable!! Less

I told them the same thing Cathy. Three TD Reps gave me three different answers on why this happened today. I think TD owes us some money. TD messed up here. They told me to contact their Corporate Section tomorrow...I'll do that right after I talk with my lawyer tomorrow.

Exactly what TD Ameritrade told me. It was the transfer agents fault. I'm in SE NC too, surf City.

I'm in SE NC (very close to SC border) and let me know how ur meeting goes. Fidelity locked me out until the stock was at $1.50, I'm not crying but this #$%$ was prearranged.
