#44421 RE: Lincoln832 #44419

Many things can and will be speculated about, especially as a company seeks to define itself and 1) survive and 2) grow. I have been involved for 15-20 years growing a company. My experience has tempered my expectations about these matters. Some things go on to develop and some things fizzle; it is the natural course of evolution of a business. If you defined a business plan today it would probably be sensible and believable but something unexpected can change it tomorrow and new meetings might be in order. Hammering on old points and failing to leave any wiggle room for changing courses is in my humble opinion a prescription for disappointment. Anyone is free to set his goals as unrealistically as he chooses and he is also free to put his money where his mouth is, too. While discussing the pros and cons of the past, try to keep a little window of opportunity open for the unexpected ray of sunshine that can come streaming through at a moment's notice.

More detail for you Lincoln.

Lincoln said: "I don't even see discussion on what happened, how it fell through, or why."

Here, this might help.
Prior to the meeting, MRNJ understood it to be primarily regarding doing promotional Movie Apps for Sony, i.e. an app out before the movie is released per se in order to promote it (from the 4/15/12 Blog).

Follow-up to shareholders after the meeting was put in a blog on 5/21/12: It said:
1. Major Studio meeting: In-person meeting took place earlier this month that lasted about an hour. We discussed social media advertising as well as apps and they told us they may use us on some future campaign, but so far nothing signed.

Whether MRNJ mentions Crackle or whatever, I have no doubt that Sony content is licensed to many differeent entities to be packaged in many different ways. Whether MRNJ mentions that or not in no way looks like a sin of omission, but rather staying on topic of MRNJ and what MRNJ could do for that big company.

The takeaway IMO, is that MRNJ has some name recognition in the content distribution industry and this big entity knew or thought enough of them to contact them and have a meeting. Whether a deal happens or not, as a business, it is important to vet the good oportunities when they present themselves, either through initiation by MRNJ itself, referrals, or being randomly contacted.
As described, the door was left open, should that company wish to collaborate on something with MRNJ. If no deal was struck at that point, that is another good business "card" to play. Keep a re-contacting option available.

Good day,
