#44428 RE: dreamonjon #44421

From a marketing perspective Dream On . . .

I'd have MRNJ go with a little more honesty. Such as, "Sony has been streaming video through a very successful app (made by their subsidiary company) called Crackle. We hope to enhance their existing structure with a unique, proprietary programming idea. We currently do not have a contract signed, but plan on resolving this by May 2012. If Sony does not agree to our terms, we will market this to other clients. We apologize for the delay, you'll just have to trust us."

Then, after a certain period of time- a year or less, we'd see this proprietary software idea in action. Otherwise the trust comment would lost credibility.

I'd prefer that over:

"App programming is fairly specialized and not everyone can do it yet in a big way, our business model would allow them to release thousands of titles quickly and in-expensively."
(from circa 4/2012 blog as it relates to Sony)

--- Especially since Sony has been streaming video in a BIG way through Crackle.
