Pardon me for laughing fpg but you surely aren't implying that AMD under Hector Ruiz leadership was not a formidable competitor?

AMD had great products, but as a company they were extremely vulnerable (i.e. not robust), especially due to their capacity constraints. And they were Intel's only real competitor, which meant that Intel could focus all of their special attention directly on them. (Please Note: What I just wrote is not controversial. I could extend into controversial territory, but am deliberately avoiding stirring a particular pot.)

Banish the thought!! And fpg superlatives stem from R&D, I can't understand after all these years while you were focusing on recurring net operating losses you don't know this?
