Baddog: Any company that has no intention of doing further business in any region has fewer worries about possibly ruffling feathers, right? Danagas had interests in just one JDZ block, didn't have a carry and was giving up its one and only JDZ asset. They could care less about the Joint Development Authority's rules at that point. In contrast, ERHC has interests spread across a large swath of the JDZ, has nothing to lose by keeping its JDZ assets since it has/had a carry, and needs to keep the regulators in the JDA happy. Do you see how the two situations could legitimize different approaches?
