Personally I believe ERHC consistently uses NDAs to not disclose what they really don't want to disclose anyway. Legally they can point to the NDAs all day long and say that is the reason and so can some shareholders. I don't think it has anything to do with getting sued or anything to do with losing carries or anything to do with angering the JDA, SNP or anything to do with not making Kenya, Chad, STP or Nigeria angry. It has to do with who ERHC is. They are a company controlled by a single individual who wants to keep as much secret as they legally can. A lot of small exploration companies understand that openness brings investment which is usually essential to the success of a small exploration company. ERHC has NEVER understood or practiced that. They have made this far more difficult than it should have been and they continue to do so. Maybe it will work. Maybe it won't. I guess we'll see. I don't agree with that strategy. I never have. And I never will.

Buffalo Trader....
As you can see, I have lost almost all interest in ERHC...and lost interest in any past warm spot I reserved for the this company based on the old JDZ story. I have not checked this board for months. Based on the sp I have to guess that others (including Midtier) have also lost interest.

Now to my reply...to your reply...to my December post:

If a company (i.e. ERHC) is legally locked into silence forever regarding information that is considered by shareholders to be critical to an investment...then you would have to admit that ERHC could be holding any amount of information (good or bad) that could be material to it's future in relation to any of it's assets. How would you know? I was OK with ERHC not saying anything for awhile...but I consider this an unreasonable timeframe.

Based on this, how would anyone have even a clue as to the current status of this investment?

Have you ever had an investment where you have been left in in the dark for so long as we have regarding the JDZ? Do you think that potential investors would be attracted to situations like this? Do you really feel that you know how ERHC will satisfy their future financial obligations...in a way that you are comfortable? Do you have any idea of the potential dilution situation? Every investment has unknowns...but not nearly to this degree IMHO.

I understand that most current interest in ERHC is probably in regard to Kenya. But so far, the latest news does not appear to be impressing investors. If this company does not at least attract as many investors as it loses...it will take some great news to move the sp in an upwards direction. But based on the past agreements of silence, investors may not even get the news they hope for as it could be held back for reasons we will never know. Mangement will just say they are 'bound by contract agreements'. I know that these agreements are legtimate...but 'forever'? I have no other investments that have left me in the dark for this long. I just don't believe anymore. I'm not the only one.

I do hope this works out some day for all those that have been waiting for so long.
