I respectful disagree. Even in the new ATP 4 guidelines it list REDUCE-IT as a study that needs to finish because we truely lack the knowledge of HOW MUCH treating 200-500 Trigs reduces CV events. Science wants a placebo controlled study to prove it, we have multiple large Prospective cohort studies that gives us the hyopthesis fish oil reduces CV events.
Amarin is not the NIH's bitch, they can pick up the full cost...we have all the IP.
