His advice is my advice a great product doesn't always make a great stock! I could be wrong but don't most people invest in a stock to make money the last time I checked. Whether amrn was screwed over by the FDA and then missteps by management after the fact no longer matter. St is right even the marine indication is not even selling well enough to make this a viable stock. This stock once had promise but that is no longer the case. Call me Debbie downer all you want but this ticker is not coming back from the dead!

I thought I wrapped it up neatly with my final sentence:

not only were the goalposts moved mid-game, the entire playing field was changed!

This is much more than a flawed Adcom process we're dealing with - yes, AMRN was royally screwed, the FDA effed them intentionally, and hopefully the CPs will lead to an investigation to shed some light on how and what actually happened, and perhaps rectify certain things. But "changing the playing field", meaning the FDA no longer believes TGs 200-500 need to be treated, while pushing statins on everyone instead, is a sea change in medical treatment - it's not the FDAs job to dictate medical treatment decisions, but they're using their bully pulpit to postpone ANCHOR until R-IT is finished.

What I'm trying to get across is that I believe this all goes straight to the top of the FDA, and lobbying the FDA to investigate themselves and somehow expecting a 180 degree change in opinion may be a futile task. Doesn't hurt to try, but realize that they have 6 months or more to respond to those CPs, way too late to change what's going to happen this Friday, which IMO is a CRL. Some folks here and elsewhere were attempting to get a Congressional investigation going, but I've heard no word of those activities for well over a month - that's what I was banking on, as it's the only real pressure the FDA fears and needs to respond to - they can essentially say "eff off" to everyone else.

Maybe BioBill will follow through on his vague threats of certain actions after the expected occurs on Friday, but again, unless people in power are enlisted, lawyers hired, etc., individual private citizens face a long slow process before justice may be reached - years of fighting the government - that's just reality. Speaking of reality, why has AMRN not appealed to the proper channels in the FDA and scheduled the Type A meeting again after attempting to jump ahead of the process weeks ago, which was likely Joe's last and fatal mistake?
