At the end of the day, the spleen enlargement is a symptom, not the cause of the disease. So personally I would be less fussy about whether the spleen reduced by 35% or 25% than a marrow CR. If you really do fix the marrow, the spleen should follow along.



I am more skeptical of that then you. Perhaps true. But perhaps not. Lots of things in life (and medicine) that are secondary to the causative event are not fixed by fixing the cause.

E.g. one month ago there was reference to 4 CRs (presumably blood/bone CRs without full clinical response) and now there are only 3. Implying that one of the blood/bone CRs did not create a clinical CR.
