According to the CC, imaging studies can't/don't provide evidence of "normalization," and, thus, wouldn't help Tefferi in defining a CR or a PR. From what I could understand from the CC, the imaging studies give a relative size of spleen reduction, but a CR or PR requires a complete "normalization." This is done through palpitation.
Agree that CR or PR requires complete "normalization". But Feuerstein is still correct that a "Spleen Response" requires "A spleen response requires confirmation by MRI or computed tomography showing $35% spleen volume reduction". That said, I don't know for sure that INCY did an MRI reading (I presume that they did - but don't know)
