I believe AMD's guidance was "flat to seasonally down".
And depending on what kind of charges they take this quarter, it could come in quite a bit below that (i.e. #msg-9445841).
Unless you expect AMD to accelerate their market share gains, I don't see them making $0.50 per share this quarter. Even the most optimistic analyst is only expecting $0.41 EPS, and the average is $0.28.
What makes you think that Intel *can't* take back MS in q2,3,4? How many bonuses and commissions do you think are based on this? Do you think that *simply* the fact that AMD has a more *elegant* architecture that that alone will do it?
