Where the short story tellers fail with their numbers is in your understanding of what constitutes a trade.
Adanacs view:
A trade has to be settled in 30 seconds or less in order to be considered...any trade not settled is "assumed" to be shorted and Adanac will report it as shorted all year long..even after it settles:
My view:
A trade has 3 days to settle...and trades often take more that 30 seconds as adanac's numbers proove. Also the SEC tracks and reports on every trade...The Official report prove that all trades this year have settled within 3 days.
I'd rather be right and side with the SEC and their official tracking than a figure that is based on only 30 seconds of a trade....
