So much for the squeeze - the bus just turned red. And so much for the supposed news coming out of Texas this morning. As my handle suggests, I tend to be a doubting Thomas anyway.

I think we need a news event (almost any good news), to trigger the squeeze. I am expecting some type of news event soon...whether it's a new licensee or some additional details of the IBM Cell deal. Ideally, it would be announcing someone (anyone) settled. There is tremendous resistance at 36.60, but once we have some news event to break that...we should soar like an eagle. I think the big funds are just waiting on us to break the resistance. Most of the individual investors are already "all in" (myself included). On the bright side, I think we have tremendous support in the 33.50 - 34.00 range, so the downside is fairly limited at these levels. Without the downside shortselling pressure the stock has suffered through the last 2-3 weeks, we would be in the 40's or 50's right now in anticipation of winning the infringement trial or winning favorable settlements.
