Colder weather, lower gas prices, and easy comparisons made the November 9 week a strong one for ICSC-Goldman's sample which reports a 1.2 percent jump in week-to-week same-store sales for a 2.3 percent year-on-year pace which is up 4 tenths in the week. The 4-week average for the year-on-year rate is at plus 2.4 percent, a modest rate but still the best for this report since August. Redbook, which has been trending higher than ICSC-Goldman, will post its results later this morning at 8:55 a.m. ET.
