Mschere and others, re the paucity of prs from the company on these licensing deals. Could it be that the firestorm that the notorious watershed cc after the Ericy settlement has the company taking a different approach? Or at least a little gun shy? It may also have something to do with the culture (i.e. "face") of the Asian companies as it relates to Kyo and LG.
It appears that IDCC is satisfied with sharing partnerships and technology agreements via the pr route, and will leave licensing and financial impact stuff to the 8k method.
