OT: I say Carolina against Pittsburg in the Superbowl with the Steeler's smash mouth football winning it...
As for Carolina, they had no running game whatsoever with their 2 starter runnning backs (DeShaun Foster and Stephen Davis) sitting on the bench.... not to mention their 3rd string running back, Nick Goings, getting knocked out of the game in the 1st quarter. That left Carolina with their 4th string tailback, Jamal Robertson, to carry the ball. A situation most NFL teams couldn't win with no matter how good their passing game is... The Seahawks double and sometimes triple covered Steve Smith.. Carolina's QB, Delhomme, had the everything stacked against him.
Seattle Seahawks are a good team... but they had a cake walk through the playoffs... homefield advantage in addition to playing against incomplete teams. It will be a much different story in the Superbowl... Pittsburg is hungry... they fought tooth and nail to get to Detroit. They will chew the Seahawks up and then spit them out... Most of the 20 points I give the Seahawks to score in the Superbowl will come in the 4th quarter after the game is already in the bag for Pittsburg.
Pittsburg - 35 Seahawks - 20
