Here's a thought why not focus on the upcoming contract bid with the military since they are exempt from any FDA certification. That way their resources are not spread as thin and if by chance they do land a piece of this contract it would certainly go a long way in funding any necessary upgrades required to obtain the variance needed for civilian applications. Again its so easy to step back and ask why, but its another story when walking in managements shoes. I don't have any experience bringing a laser dazzler to the mainstream...do you?

LOL, there we go again. "repeated FDA rejections"? Makes it seem more dire than it is. The FDA variance is not a deal killer. It is the preferred way though.

"Is it a matter of the product not being able to be made compliant" A little reading on the matter would reveal. They can add a switch.

"is it they hired an expert who really doesn't understand the process"again, a little reason would show this line of thought about as wrong as one can be.

Of course the items can be made compliant. The cost is better saved if the item can be found already compliant or compliance is made UN-nessisary.

I am not a LNGT lover and definitely not a fan of the Battises, but lets be a little balanced in our discussion.
