NotBob,
In light of Peregrine's less than forthcoming attitude, third party validation seems necessary at this point. Saying that bavituximab has synergies with other checkpoint therapies, is worthless considering the source. I find it comical that since PD-1 therapies coined the new term "checkpoint", Peregrine has "jumped the bandwagon" and taken "checkpoint" as their own.
Now it's GLOBAL CHECKPOINT!
And BTW, IMO, GLOBAL CHECKPOINT mimics what I described in an earlier post, and it doesn't cost $50,000 to tell you..
"add a combination of PD-1 therapeutics, and instead of a proliferation of "dumb" T-Cells, you have, thanks to Bavituximab, tumor specific T-Cells ready to attack a non-self environment. The proliferation becomes smart, and instead of autoantibodies being pathological, they work in conjunction to these therapeutics, and help the entire immune response become, stronger, longer, and non-pathogenic".
How about I coin a new catchphrase that reflects this theory, "THE GATEKEEPER"!
Remember, you read it here first. ALA SIERRA :)
Be original Peregrine..
All the best,
John
