This may be a blessing in disguise. The new format is bad enough to cause many long time members to leave make their own site. My guess is we'll have several to choose from soon
The message they're sending is that the children will quiet down if they're ignored.
It's a little more than that. I've worked in tech for years. This isn't how you do it. There is a little concept called "usability" that they have completely and utterly disregarded. You don't do that to paying customers. But, they have and now say "this is the way it's going to be. Take it or leave it"
