Make sure you have the latest version of the firmware......if you bought a wrt 54g or gs you will need to upload the current firmware......i think this is version .04 or .05 but not sure......if u had trouble uploading the firmware make sure and hold reset button in for 10 secs prior to attempting the upload....I switched over from a Netgear which was a true POS---broadcasted wireless only when it felt like it so was very difficult to troubleshoot....HP was going to have me reformat my laptop over the Netgear......the Linksys went in with trouble (of course) but once I reset and uploaded the firmware it works excellent for a 39 dollar router.....I am running 2 hard cabled and 2 wireless systems on it....if you cant get it contact lynda botez on aol IM at (screen name lbotez) I will alert you may be calling for assistance...
