Or, read the footnote

" Included on the CD with Boxed Intel Desktop Boards only. Some software may not be included with all products. Check individual CDs or product packaging for software availability."

So far, TPM 0 for 2 on Viiv MBs.

Actually, none of the current Media Series boards supporting Viiv include a TPM or EMBASSY as of 12/05.

Nice try though. Maybe the dot is making a connection behind door #3.

Warm Regards

Barge.....sorry but there's no link at the moment.

There is also no config for either of those
boards that includes a TPM 1.2.....& rather
like MSFT's Secure Startup,if Viiv Required
a TPM Intel would have said so like MSFT did.

So at the moment it's clear cut that Viiv does
NOT REQUIRE a TPM module to be present!

Barge, according to Dutton's sources, the bulk of all PC's will start shipping with TPM's at some point this year.

Microsoft (MSFT -$26.15 - Nasdaq) has said
PCs must have trusted platform modules installed to meet operational standards for its next Windows
operating system targeted for release at the end of 2006. Consequently, we expect basically all PCs to be
shipping with TPMs at some point it 2006.
