I'm new to investing. I have an etrade account. Can I short stocks with them? Also, what does one need to short?

This is why I said yesterday that its not a good idea to short a stock that has already pulled back (was 6.20s then) - I had shorted near the previous top and covered by the 6.30 mark - Now it broke out - Lets wait for the top to dig the knife in again - The time is coming soon IMO
