I hear you - you have a point However, I personally like to short near the 'tops' and cover for small % wins on the retrace - I usually dont like to short when a ticker has already pulled back a bit and is in middle ground - I shorted NOK a few times for decent wins - I may short again if it pops out of thin air - I may go long if it retraces hard - No trade for me on the mid level PPS.
