It reminds me of a time on was on Kodiak Island, Alaska. I ran in a race that started on the top of a mountain. I was in good shape, running five minute miles....and a girl beat me. I came in second. Of course I thought...who is that girl? My brother told me she was the state's cross country champion. Then I didn't feel so bad.
