Spring is sprung,
The grass is riz.
Now where the heck
The flowers is?

Morning, K2. It is starting to look that way. Of course, we are now into mid April and its about damm time! We really got spoiled the past few winters that weren't, and when we got this one just past, it was a bit rough. I like snow, but April snow in southern PA is a bit in the ridiculous side.

We should fininsh the Chang's emergency today, I hope. I will be burning brush piles tomorrow. Also tomorrow, a friend and I will be getting together to make flight reservations for our September hunt in British Columbia. Alligators are back. Wrestling is in.

No experience with lavender incense. Last I burned incense was way back in the 60's. Tried it, and didn't like it. Made my eyes water.

We used to fight through the forms. After finishing the taxes, Doris and I didn't speak for at least a day or so. Now, I use a program. The whole shooting match is done in about 3 hours, and that includes D capital gains and losses which take awhile. It will go faster next year, as I will be able to import all that stuff from my financial program. Up to now I have typed in each transaction.

PA state form is a whiz. How much did you make? Send us our percentage. No muss, no fuss, no deductions. Flat rate tax would work this way, but then the politicos in Foggy bottom would have little to do. Monkeying with the tax code is one of their favortite activities. Have you noticed that whenever they cut taxes they also take away things that were deductable?

The economy of a tax code that had no loopholes would be astounding, but then, the politicians couldn't use it to buy votes.
